Jennifer Lopez Makes Boyfriend Casper Smart Sign Confidentiality Agreement

Jennifer Lopez has made her young boyfriend Casper Smart sign a confidentiality agreement, RadarOnline reports.

Smart is also Lopez’s employee, and she requires everyone who works for her to sign a non-disclosure/confidentiality agreement. The agreement covers all interactions employees have with Lopez, as well as anything that occurs while they are off the clock.

A source told RadarOnline:

“Jen has been around long enough to know that anyone she dates could possibly turn on her and choose to go to the press if the relationship sours. Casper had absolutely no qualms about signing the agreement, and has told Jen on multiple occasions that even if he didn’t work for her, he would have signed the contract. Jen loves him even more for that.”

While having your boyfriend sign a confidentiality agreement may seem odd to some people, Lopez is trying to protect herself after having been burned by past relationships. She has been engaged in a lengthy court battle with ex-husband Ojani Noa for almost three years over home videos taken while the two were still married.

Noa has been trying to sell the footage, titled How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The J. Lo and Ojani Noa Story, but Lopez has been able to successfully block the videos from being released to the public. He also tried to publish a tell-all book about the singer-actress, but that was blocked as well.

The two were married on February 22, 1997 and divorced less than a year later, but Noa has been trying to capitalize on his status as a former “Mr. Lopez” ever since.

Lopez, who turned 43 in June, recently celebrated her one-year anniversary with 25-year-old Smart. The pair are currently in Europe as part of Lopez’s Dance Again tour.
