‘Jersey Shore’ Procuders Allegedly Planning A Hurricane Sandy Clean-Up Special

The cast of Jersey Shore may come back together to film a clean-up special in Seaside Heights. Although the residents of the coastal community may have thought they had seen the last of Snooki and The Situation, it looks like the cast and their camera crew are coming back one last time.

If the claims made by a Radar Online source are accurate, MTV is considering a Jersey Shore reunion with a cause. Folks along the New Jersey coast are dealing with such heartbreaking devastation; the invasion of a camera crew could be too much of a burden on the storm-ravaged region.

The Radar Online source had this to say about the alleged clean-up special:

“Even though clean-up hasn’t begun yet in Seaside Heights because of the extensive damage caused by Hurricane Sandy, executives at MTV are discussing bringing the cast of the Jersey Shore back together to film a special. The honchos at the network think it would be a tremendous boost for Seaside Heights as the town begins to rebuild, to have the kids be a part of it.”

The Jersey Shore clean-up is still allegedly in the “very early stages” and has undergone only informal discussion. The source maintains that the reality show’s producers feel they can easily get Snooki, J-WOWW, and Deena to agree. If the source’s claims are accurate, producers are worried about getting all the guys, and especially The Situation, to reunite for the special.

After Hurricane Sandy nearly demolished the coastal areas of New Jersey, Snooki issued this statement:

“Sandy destroyed Seaside – our second home. It’s devastating to see our boardwalk and favorite spots ruined. My prayers go out to everyone affected by the storm.”

Jersey Shore cast member Pauly D had this to say about the damage at Seaside Heights:

“My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone affected by Hurricane Sandy, especially our friends and family in Seaside Heights. A huge thank you to all the men and women who have been working around the clock to protect and help everyone, true heroes!”
