NBA star Delonte West arrested with three guns

26-year-old NBA star Delonte West was arrested on a three-wheeled motorcycle Thursday night.

West, a guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, was packing three loaded handguns and kicking it straight up Al Capone style:

…investigators found that West was actually carrying three guns: a Beretta 9mm in his waistband, a Ruger .357 strapped to his leg and a shotgun in a guitar case slung over his back, said Maj. Andy Ellis, a spokesman for the Prince George’s County Police Department.

West was riding up I-95 when he cut off a police officer, who them pulled him over. West disclosed the gun in his waistband to the officer, who called for backup. A search revealed the three loaded weapons, and West was charged with speeding and possessing the guns. He was released on his own recognizance. Police disclosed that West’s destination at the time was unknown, nor why he was so heavily armed.
