Kanye West Career Allegedly On Hold: Working On Kim Kardashian Marriage Amid Divorce Rumors

Kanye West has put his rap career on hold to focus on his marriage with Kim Kardashian, it has been alleged.

The rapper reportedly feels as if he has neglected his duties as a parent and as a husband in recent months, and since he has spent the majority of the year working on his music, Kanye feels as if he owes it to his family to make it up to them.

It’s been a crazy year for West and Kim, who have found themselves in endless unfortunate situations. Kardashian feared for her life when confronted by masked gunmen in Paris while Kanye was hospitalized after having suffered a mental breakdown.

Of course, those were only two of the many incidents that Kim and Kanye have found themselves in this year, but it goes without saying that their marriage has suffered from it tremendously, which Kanye West has very well noticed himself, a source explains.

Hollywood Life, in particular, claims that West is wanting to make several changes concerning the couple’s future together, starting off with a much-needed break from the music industry and solely focusing on being a dad and a good husband to Kim.

Since the beginning of the year, Kanye West has spent most of his time in the studio, releasing his award-winning album, The Life of Pablo, launching his Yeezy season 4 clothing collection, and kicking off his Saint Pablo nationwide tour.

To say that Kanye hasn’t made much time for his family is an understatement, though it should be stressed that this was more so to do with the fact that his schedule just didn’t allow him to fit in the additional family time that Kim and the kids so desperately needed.

When the 36-year-old flew back to Los Angeles after the Paris ordeal, Kanye West was obligated to continue his touring duties, and could therefore not stay with his wife, who subsequently moved into Kris Jenner’s home in Calabasas out of her growing fear of staying alone in Bel-Air.

Now that Kanye West is out of the hospital and his tour has officially been canceled, the “Stronger” rapper is planning to use his free time with family and friends, reportedly unable to remember the last time he had gone on a vacation with Kim and the children.

“Kanye West told Kim that going into 2017 he’s going to dial it back a notch. He’s realized that she, Nori and Saint are the most important people in his life and that he’s going to spend more time at home, being a husband and father to his family,” a source tells Hollywood Life.

“[Kanye] doesn’t even remember the last family vacation the four of them took. But he’s willing to make every concession needed to make his marriage to Kim work and if putting his career on the back burner is what it takes then he’s all in!”

Kanye’s decision to take a break from the industry comes just one week after reports claimed that the father of two had intentions of making his return to music in February, just in time for an expected performance at the Grammy awards ceremony.

By the look of things, those plans have changed, with Kanye West only looking to spend the next couple of months working on his marriage with Kim while being in the presence of his two children as much as possible.

West is expected to star in the forthcoming series of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, Entertainment Tonight claims, where the aftermath of his hospitalization this month will be played out for viewers to get a better understanding of the troubling situation and what led to the downfall to begin with.
