Angelina Jolie And Brad Pitt 2016: Have Christmas Plans With Their Children Changed?

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt appear to be going back and forth with their Christmas plans for 2016, with decisions changing almost weekly. Originally, Pitt was doubting whether he would be able to spend time with their six children.

In mid-December, Hollywood Life reported via Us Weekly that things were looking up for Brad. As Angelina Jolie is still on very good terms with Brad Pitt’s parents, a source claimed that Angelina might allow Brad Pitt to see their children, Maddox, 15; Pax, 12; Zahara, 11; Shiloh, 10; and twins Knox and Vivienne, 8, on the one condition that Pitt’s parents were around.

“She is open to that only because of Brad’s family.”

While Angelina Jolie’s friend said that Brad Pitt would be allowed to spend time with their children, it was unclear as to when this would take place, and whether it would be Christmas Eve or Christmas itself for the 2016 holidays.

“Brad hopes to see the kids for Christmas at some point, but when hasn’t been determined. Brad is committed to staying positive. He’s just trying to look ahead.”

After it was determined that Angelina Jolie would allow Brad to spend time with their children for the 2016 holidays, the Inquisitr reported that this time would be strictly limited and for only four hours. A source was reported to have said that Brad was going to have to use his acting skills to the very best of his ability when he arrives laden with presents and will have to put on a “brave face” in order to “mask the torment” he will be feeling as he won’t be spending much time with his children.

The latest news that is now being reported by In Touch Weekly, however, has said that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s children will be spending time with their father at his home. Therapists that are currently working with the six children have allegedly signed off and have allowed the holiday visitation to take place.

There does appear to be some trouble brewing with this visit, as a source that spoke to In Touch Weekly revealed that Angelina appeared to have tried to change the terms of the visit so that Pitt would be seeing their children at Jolie’s house rather than his.

“Angelina Jolie is furious about this. She’s having a meltdown. She can’t believe it’s happening. After being told that the kids were cleared to visit Brad at his house she tried to change the terms and have the visit at her home. But she was firmly told no. And that made her furious.”

While Brad Pitt is no doubt happy that Angelina Jolie will definitely be allowing him to see the couple’s six children over the 2016 Christmas holidays, the oldest children of the bunch, Maddox and Pax, are being allowed to decide for themselves whether they wish to see their father. But In Touch Weekly‘s source believes that this is a “big victory” for Brad as Angelina Jolie had originally not wanted him to spend time with their children. Pitt will also be happy as he reportedly had to spend the Thanksgiving holidays on his own.

“Brad filed papers this week wanting everything sealed and attacking Angelina for making details of their battle public, claiming it would hurt the children. One of those details was Angelina naming the therapists who are treating the children. But this is a big victory for Brad as Angelina didn’t even want the kids to see him on Christmas. The two oldest children, Maddox and Pax, have the option to not visit Brad if that is what they want.”

With regard to Angelina and Brad’s divorce, their acrimonious battle continues, with Pitt still seeking custody. Will the coming year bring happier times for Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, especially considering how 2016 has been?
