Kris Jenner Hints Khloe Kardashian Has Home in Cleveland, Is She Living With Tristan Thompson?
Khloe Kardashian is rumored to have given up the bright lights of Hollywood for a move to Cleveland that allows her to be closer to NBA boyfriend Tristan Thompson.
Momager Kris Jenner recently let slip that her reality TV star daughter now has a home in Ohio, sparking all the rumors about her and the 25-year-old Thompson perhaps now shacking-up together.
“We love these so much that he also recreated it at Khloe’s house in Cleveland this year,” Jenner recently oozed as she talked about Christmas decorations.
The suddenly coy Jenner offered few other details, including if the couple’s plans for the holidays include traveling back out West to be with the family or remaining in Cleveland for a more intimate celebration between the two of them.
Earlier this month, Thompson became a first-time father when former girlfriend Jordan Craig gave birth to their son.
Still, that life-changing development has seemingly done little to slow down Thompson and Kardashian’s bubbling romance, as reports continue to service that the two are now virtually inseparable.
But learning to blend their extended families may not be the only issue the otherwise seemingly unbreakable pair will need to conquer.
Earlier this NBA season, word spread that Thompson’s teammates, particularly four-time league MVP and three-time champ LeBron James, weren’t too enthused about the idea of Kardashian being around the team so much. On the night the defending champion Cavs received their rings, reports stated that he and Thompson clashed about Kardashian being in the arena and so close to the team locker room.
“LeBron is not going to take any nonsense and if Tristan starts focusing on being on TV and being a celebrity while dating Khloe, then that is where the problems will come,” a source said back then. “LeBron wants everyone to be ready to repeat as champs and bring another title to Cleveland.”
Thompson is said to be largely unfazed by all his teammates’ concern and worries and reportedly even brought a stressed Kardashian along with him on a recent extended team road trip.
“Tristan isn’t taking any crap from his teammates anymore,” a source added. “As far as he’s concerned, Khloe’s coming to every dam game she chooses.”
Apparently, much of the concern expressed from those within the Cavs’ organization stems from the so-called “Kardashian Kurse.”
Over the years, Khloe has had high-profile romances with NBA stars Lamar Odom and James Harden, both of which ended in public breakups and bad stretches for the men involved.
In the case of ex-husband Odom, the former NBA Sixth-Man-of-the-Year award winner wound up out of the league and with a widely-reported drug problem. Harden, meanwhile, saw his Houston Rockets slip from a No.2 Western Conference playoff seed all the way down to a No.8 over the time he was dating Kardashian.
Older sister, Kim, was also infamously married to NBA veteran forward Kris Humphries for all of 72 days.
Khloe Kardashian has also been previously linked to NFL star Odell Beckham Jr., who got off to the slowest start of his career while the two were hanging out and Kim’s hip-hop star husband Kanye West was only recently released from a California hospital after suffering a mental breakdown reportedly caused by mental exhaustion and sleep deprivation.
Now 31, and on record as wanting to challenge Michael Jordan for the unofficial mantle of greatest of all time, James appears to be leaving little to chance these days as he chases Jordan’s mark of six NBA titles.
He’s rumored to have taken on such a leadership role with the Cavs this season he has been scolding teammates about such trivial matters as being sloppy with their laundry.
