‘Flip Or Flop’ Canceled: Show To End In 2017 After Tarek And Christina El Moussa Split

Despite previous assurances from both the couple and the network, sources claim that Flip or Flop will end its run in 2017.

According to ComicBook.com, Flip or Flop will end in 2017 because of the impending divorce between the show’s two stars, Tarek and Christina El Moussa. The report states that while the couple is filming episodes of their hit show, they’re only doing so to fulfill contractual obligations. And afterward, said E! Online, “the show will end.”

HGTV recently released a statement in support of the couple while refusing to comment on their personal situation.

“When it comes to matters related to their own family, we respect their privacy and honor any decision that works best for them and their children. HGTV is currently airing episodes of Flip or Flop and the series will continue production as scheduled.”

And that’s not the worst of the controversy. Shortly after the word got out about Flip or Flop being canceled, Hollywood Life dropped a bombshell report about Christina El Moussa’s new boyfriend.

According to the site, Christina’s new boyfriend, Gary Anderson, has a history of bad relationships that end with long court battles. He’s been divorced twice, according to Hollywood Life, and both divorces ended in battles for custody of children and spousal support. Christina, who is divorcing from Tarek after a decade of marriage, reportedly hooked up with Gary prior to her divorce proceedings.

Furthermore, according to Hollywood Life, between the two wives and the children, Gary has parted with several hundred thousand dollars. The site further goes on to caution Christina against getting married to Gary, since not only will she be his third wife, but if they divorce, she puts her considerable financial wealth at risk. After all, cautions Hollywood Life, Flip or Flop has left her with a lot of money, plus she has two children to care for.

“If things between Christina and Gary get serious and he marries for a third time, both parties should be extremely careful with their finances! Not only does Christina have her Flip Or Flop money and two children of her own to worry about, but it sure seems that Gary is already being drained by his first two wives.”

As if the drama of Flip or Flop getting canceled and Christina hooking up with a two-time divorcé wasn’t enough, there’s more trouble in paradise for the formerly happy couple: Tarek reportedly has a controversial hook-up of his own.

According to the New York Daily News, shortly after his split with Christina was announced, Tarek took up with the 23-year-old former nanny. Tarek and Alyssa Logan were seen together at a Florida Georgia Line concert in October, and at the time, no one thought much of it. But the Daily News suggests that this was the couple’s first “coming out” party as a couple. Moreover, Tarek was warned not to start dating the nanny while she was still an employee, so he fired her first and then began dating her.

The News further suggests that Tarek and Christina are trying to work things out for the sake of their two children.
