Lisa Vanderpump is spilling more shocking secrets about Season 7 of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. With the new season in full swing, Vanderpump teased how this year might be the nastiest yet.
According to Radar Online, Vanderpump dished on her co-stars while promoting a new line of pet products with Petco. Vanderpump feuded with a lot of the women last year but has high hopes that things will turn around.
"Last season I was beaten up by the girls," Vanderpump admitted. "But it's changed a bit this season. Last season they were all pretty damn mean to me. That was last year though, and this is this year."
On a positive note, the ladies joined Vanderpump for a special trip to Hong Kong this season. The RHOBH cast members traveled to China as part of the Yulin Meat Festival protest and ended up saving dogs from certain death.
"We were in Hong Kong and filmed part of the upcoming season's show there," Vanderpump revealed. "We saved a couple of hundred dogs from the meat truck and we have them in a sanctuary now. The Vanderpump Dog Foundation just sent them blankets because it is getting really cold there. Some of the dogs were reunited with their owners because they were stolen to be tortured and beaten alive. It is really that bad."
The ladies may have come together for a greater cause, but newcomers Dorit Kemsley and Eden Sassoon have already stirred up plenty of drama. Although Kemsley and Vanderpump are friends, the latter admitted that Dorit feuds with Erika Girardi.
"Dorit is my friend," she stated. "She is fun but she gets herself in trouble definitely. Dorit definitely has an opinion. I think that is what housewives is about. It is about women with opinions. Sometimes things get a little complicated. Dorit and Erika just had a really rough time together."
In her official Bravo TV blog, Lisa Vanderpump cautioned fans that things will eventually work themselves out this season. Despite a few early bumps, the reality star believes this season will feature enough positive experiences to balance out the negativity.
"The road to the finale is full of twists and turns, but we had an amazing experience traveling together and investing in each other's lives. The dynamic changes with the integration of a new friend and actions are sometimes misconstrued," she wrote. "As of this moment in time, the moments that we witness now, is a rather different dynamic than where we stand today, so savor the nuances as we continue our journey."
Of course, Vanderpump also admitted that she isn't sure how to handle her ongoing feud with Lisa Rinna and Eileen Davidson. According to Reality Tea, Vanderpump believes she apologized enough for her actions last season while Davidson expects more from her co-star.
"I had already encountered Lisa and Eileen a week previously. We acknowledged each other briefly, but it was a fairly benign interaction and little conversation had taken place. What is one to do in these situations? What is the perfect remedy to moving ahead and having some sort of civility between you when previously it had been so ugly? I don't have the answer, but I stand resolute in the fact that I can't be hypocritical…" she wrote.
In regards to Vanderpump's chat with Rinna at the party, the reality star isn't ready to make amends just yet. Although Rinna offered a vague apology for calling Vanderpump "an evil, manipulative liar," Vanderpump isn't sure where their friendship is headed.
