Jill Duggar Announces She Is Pregnant, ‘Counting On’ Star Expecting Second Child With Derick Dillard

Jill Duggar has been patiently waiting to welcome another child into the family with husband Derick Dillard. They talked about their struggle briefly during a Counting On special, commenting about how surprised they were that Jessa and Ben Seewald were pregnant again before they were. The sisters shared their pregnancy journey with one another, both welcoming sons in 2015.

After months of speculation, Jill Duggar finally has something to announce. According to People, Jill Duggar is expecting her second child with her husband, Derick Dillard. Fans have been talking about this for quite some time, mentioning that Duggar looked like she could be with child in Thanksgiving photos that were shared. The pregnancy rumors have plagued this couple for over a year now, beginning right after they had their first child. Israel is 20-months-old now but will be 2 by the time the new baby is born.

While the official due date for Jill Duggar has not been announced, she did reveal that she is due in July. Generally, women wait until they have passed the first trimester, which would put the new baby due around the first or second week of the month.

Duggar will get to spend another pregnancy alongside sister Jessa, as the two are pregnant together once again. They shared their journey with one another back in 2015 when Jill gave birth in April and Jessa gave birth in November. Both sisters had little boys, and this time, the gender of Jessa’s baby has not yet been revealed. This is an incredibly special time for the Duggar family as they will welcome at least two new babies in 2017.

The couple was reportedly scheduled to go back to El Salvador after Jinger’s wedding but decided to remain in Arkansas through Christmas. El Salvador isn’t equipped with the medical care they have access to here, and with the Zika virus being rampant down there, Jill shouldn’t take any chances.
