‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Finn Injects Hayden With The Cure, But What Price Will She Pay For Having Her Life Saved?

Hayden Barnes is in really bad shape right now on ABC’s General Hospital. She now has the same virus that Finn has been battling but unfortunately, hers is moving much faster than his, and now she is deteriorating fast. Finn has been working on a cure for months now and thinks he may have finally found it. But will it be too late for Hayden?

Viewers saw Hayden flatlining on Monday’s episode of General Hospital with Finn and Tracy Quartermaine standing nearby. He had the syringe in hand ready to test the serum on himself before he injected Hayden with it, but now he will have to make an instant decision to save the woman he loves. As Soaps She Knows posted for Tuesday, this is definitely going to be very risky considering that Finn has no idea whether this will save her or kill her.

She has run out of time, so it will be a risk to see if this serum is actually the cure that Dr. Finn has been fervently praying for. He lost his wife before he could save her and he doesn’t want to go through that again. He and Hayden are finally sharing their feelings for each other, even though she knew very well that he may not have much time left. Little did she know that she would be fighting the same battle, only worse.

Tracy and Elizabeth had rushed Hayden from the Quartermaine mansion to General Hospital when she suddenly started to fade fast. Another doctor decided to put her into a medically-induced coma while Liz quickly tried to get hold of Finn. He was down in the lab with Brad as they were working on making sure this cure would work. Before they could test it, Finn got the call from Elizabeth, and he went rushing out with the syringe in hand to Hayden’s room.

Finn will end up injecting her with the apparent cure before it is actually tested and will then keep a close watch on her. He will be keeping vigil at the hospital not leaving her side. Hayden is expected to pull through. However, there may be some type of unexpected side effect to this cure.

According to spoilers for next week provided by Soap Central, Hayden will pay the price for recovering from this virus. That is all that is known for now, but is sounds like there will be something unexpected that happens to her eventually. What price will she pay for Finn saving her life? There are rumors that maybe she will experience a case of amnesia when she wakes up and won’t know anyone. That would certainly put a kink into her and Finn’s new relationship. However, it could very well be something else that happens to Hayden.

One thing that General Hospital viewers do know is that the cure actually came from Finn’s pet lizard, Roxy. Ever since he figured out what could save both him and Hayden, Roxy has not been seen since. This cute little reptile seems to have many fans out there, and they are a little concerned about what happened to her after her owner got what he wanted. Now Finn does love Roxy, so it is doubtful that he let her die.

Hayden’s mother, Naomi, is expected to return to Port Charles on Wednesday. She will not be happy that her daughter is in this position all because of Dr. Finn. The last she was seen was when she was hauled off to jail, and she had also confessed that Hayden and Elizabeth are half-sisters. Many fans are hoping that the girls’ dad, Jeff Webber, will eventually return to General Hospital as well.
