WWE Roadblock: Roman Reigns To Beat Kevin Owens According To Betting Odds

WWE is presenting a Monday Night Raw only pay-per-view tonight in Roadblock. Bet Wrestling has a list of the current gambling lines and betting odds for the Roadblock pay-per-view and the oddsmakers believe that two of the four challengers in title matches tonight will win their matches including Roman Reigns.

The interesting thing about the Roman Reigns match is that he is fighting for the WWE Universal Championship against Kevin Owens, but he is not putting his United States Championship on the line in the match. This means that if Roman Reigns wins the Universal Championship at Roadblock, he is a double-champion, but the same is not true for Kevin Owens.

The current betting odds for the Kevin Owens vs. Roman Reigns WWE Universal Championship match at Roadblock has Reigns at -260 and Owens at +180. That means that if a person bets $1 for Owens, and he wins, they will win $1.80. However, they have to bet $2.60 to win $1 if they choose Roman Reigns, making Roman the oddsmakers’ favorite to win the Roadblock match.

However, these odds do not mean that the oddsmakers think that Kevin Owens will lose his title, although that is possible. Even if Roman Reigns wins the match by disqualification, people who bet on Roman will win the bet. Roman Reigns is favored to win but could still walk out of Roadblock without the Universal Championship.

There are a lot of WWE rumors floating around that believe that Roman Reigns will win the WWE Universal Championship so that a face can hold the title heading into WrestleMania, but that might not happen until the Royal Rumble.

Tonight at Roadblock, Kevin Owens fights Roman Reigns for the title while Seth Rollins fights Chris Jericho with no title involved. Cageside Seats reports that this is the first time in 17 consecutive pay-per-view appearances for Seth Rollins that he is not in a title match.

There is a good chance, considering the ongoing storyline between these four men, that this feud could stretch on into the Royal Rumble. A four-way Universal Championship match between Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins, could be a huge match for the Royal Rumble.

That could lead to three huge WrestleMania matches. Seth Rollins is rumored to fight Triple H at the big event. Kevin Owens vs. Chris Jericho makes the most sense based on their running storyline. Plus, if Roman Reigns walks out as the Universal Champion at either Roadblock or the Royal Rumble, he could possibly face the winner of the Royal Rumble itself.

There is a lot of possibilities for WrestleMania next year, and tonight’s Roadblock event will be a good way to kickstart the possibility for three of those matches, including the rumored Roman Reigns vs. Braun Strowman match.

Outside of Roman Reigns, the other Roadblock title match where the challenger is favored to win is the WWE Monday Night Raw tag team title match. Cesaro and Sheamus are favored to win (-175) over The New Day (+135). The New Day just broke the record for the longest tag team title reign and it is time to move on.

The other two Roadblock title matches have Sasha Banks (-540) highly favored to retain her WWE women’s title over Charlotte (+360) and Rich Swann (-350) favored to win over both TJ Perkins and Brian Kendrick (+250).

Also at Roadblock, Braun Strowman (-170) is favored to beat Sami Zayn (+130), Seth Rollins (-400) is favored over Chris Jericho (+280), and Rusev (-285) is favored to beat Big Cass (+205).
