‘Vanderpump Rules’ Star Jax Taylor Claims Lala Kent Didn’t Quit — She Was Fired!

There’s no love lost between Jax Taylor and Lala Kent. The Vanderpump Rules star slammed Kent on social media this week, revealing the real reason why she left the reality show. In contrast to Kent’s original statement, her departure was not voluntary.

According to Us Magazine, Taylor told fans that Kent was actually fired from SUR this season. The revelations started with a series of tweets in which former The Hills Spencer Pratt jokingly asked Taylor if he could take Kent’s spot on the show.

“Umm sweetheart you got kicked off a long time ago. What a joke this is,” Taylor replied.

A fan then asked if Kent really quit the show, to which Taylor revealed, “Umm no… They kicked her off, just more of her lies.”

Of course, Kent and Taylor have continuously been at odds ever since they joined the series back in Season 4. Their once friendly relationship took a nasty turn after Taylor’s girlfriend, Brittany Cartwright, accused Kent of flirting with her man.

This past Monday, Kent confirmed her exit from the show. In her official statement, Kent claims that she left because she was tired of all the rumors surrounding her alleged affair with a married man.

“I have a boyfriend who I’m madly in love with, and this married man rumor that who knows where the f**k they pulled this out, whose a** it came out of, it’s just not worth it to me in any way, shape or form,” she stated. “I feel like my personal life is meant to be personal and I don’t have to share everything. Even though they want to call it a reality TV show, this s**t is not real.”

Kent stopped filming for the new season of Vanderpump Rules back in July. While she agreed to film the entire season, she claims that she tried to cut ties with the show on several different occasions.

“[I tried to quit] during the very first episode that everyone saw. … I tried to leave. That’s why in one of the clips my dress is unzipped,” she explained. “I took my mic off and told them I was done and then something went on and then I tried to leave three other times, but they wouldn’t let me.”

Kent finally called it quits on the day before Fourth of July celebrations.

“I got in my car, my Range Rover, that apparently was paid for by some man who I’ve never heard about or seen in my life. I jumped in my Range Rover and drove 10 hours to Utah, and my mom turned my phone off so no one could get a hold of me. … I basically started fresh when I got back to L.A.” she revealed.

Meanwhile, Blasting News reports that Kent refuses to release the name of her boyfriend. The reality star is keeping her man’s name a secret until they are both ready. She also wants to “protect his child and the mother of his child, who is a close friend of mine.”

Until Kent reveals her boyfriend’s identity, her co-stars remain adamant that she is having an affair. That being said, Taylor, Katie Maloney, and Stassi Schroeder have not provided any evidence to back up their claims, so fans will likely have to wait this one out to learn the truth.

Bravo has not released an official statement regarding Kent’s exit. It’s also unclear when she will make her final appearance on the show, though it sounds like her departure occurred less than halfway through production.

Fans can watch new episodes of Vanderpump Rules Monday nights on Bravo.
