On a recent episode of Days Of Our Lives, Deimos Kiriakis had Philip (John-Paul Lavoisier) kidnapped and drugged. Then, Deimos gave his nephew a truth serum and demanded to know Chloe’s (Nadia Bjorlin) secret. All Philip would mumble was “embryo.” At first, Deimos didn’t understand this and thought he needed to increase the dosage. However, after a few moments, he realized that Philip was telling him exactly what Chloe was hiding.

As fans know, Daniel Jonas (Shawn Christian) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) used Chloe so they could have a baby. The first IVF treatment was unsuccessful. After Daniel’s death on Days Of Our Lives, Chloe decided to try IVF a second time, but didn’t tell Nicole. That is when she became pregnant and according to the doctor’s computer records, she is seven months along. Nicole still doesn’t know the truth and Deimos hasn’t said a word to her.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Days Of Our Lives spoilers for next week reveal that Nicole will go to visit Chloe. Her water will break during a snowstorm and Nicole will have to deliver the baby. It will be a difficult labor and Chloe is grateful to have her friend there. She allows Nicole to name the baby. It seems that she will still have no idea that she is the real mother of Chloe’s baby. Spoilers for next week also reveal that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will try to get to the women and he will also warn Deimos not to harm Chloe.

With the emotional storyline and Deimos drugging Philip, is he turning evil again? In the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, the magazine quoted Vincent Irizarry as saying that it is not true.

“No, for Deimos, it’s an act that he does on Nicole’s behalf, because he truly loves her. Philip has been dishonest with them, so he sees temporarily kidnapping him as the one way to find out the truth.”

For a long time, Deimos was convinced that he was the biological father of Chloe’s baby. Even after two paternity tests proved otherwise, Deimos just couldn’t believe it. Imagine his shock when he realized that Chloe was a secret surrogate for Daniel and Nicole’s baby. Even though Deimos was always a character that seemed to be concerned about himself and was focused on revenge, this is different. He loves Nicole and knows how painful it is to deal with Daniel’s death, Chloe’s withdrawal, and not being a mother.

What makes this storyline even more emotional is that Nicole can’t have children of her own. The whole reason why Chloe is keeping the secret is because she doesn’t like Deimos. A part of her even fears him. It does not justify what she is doing and fans are appalled that Chloe is keeping such a huge secret from Nicole. Despite her feelings toward Deimos, Nicole has a right to know that Chloe is carrying her child. Bjorlin explained that Philip told Chloe what Deimos did to him. It only makes her even more sure that she is protecting the baby by keeping him or her away from Deimos.

“Someone who is capable of doing that to his own nephew validates Chloe’s decision to stay away from Deimos and Nicole.”

The actress also added another detail about Chloe’s thought process.

“Chloe left Salem with the best of intentions. She wanted to protect this child that she is carrying, and also her best friend. But Chloe doesn’t think Nicole will see it that way.”

Since Days Of Our Lives is a soap opera, the truth is going to come out. All Nicole has ever wanted was to be a mother. She is wonderful with Chloe’s son, Parker, and with Brady and Theresa’s (Jen Lilley) little boy, Tate. This isn’t about revenge, it is about getting Chloe to do what is right and tell the truth. Deimos is determined to give Nicole the one thing she wanted most, what most women take for granted — a child.

The question is how will Nicole find out? Spoilers reveal that after giving birth and having Nicole name the baby, Chloe passes out. Right before losing consciousness, Chloe seems like she is ready to confess the truth. However, her eyes close before she can finish her sentence. Will she go in and out of consciousness and reveal the truth? When Brady arrives to help, will he tell Nicole that she is the biological mother of the child? Perhaps Deimos will let Nicole know that her dream is now a reality? Fans will have to wait to find out what happens next on Days Of Our Lives.
