Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively Kids Make Hollywood Debut: She Jump-Starts New Year Weight Loss Diet

Ryan Reynolds’ and Blake Lively’s daughters just made their public debut in the perfect place: Hollywood. Lively and Reynolds’ children had been mentioned but never seen, and just as you’d expect from their attractive parents, the kids qualify as absolutely adorable. And while Blake is as stunningly beautiful as ever, the actress recently revealed that she’s already jump-started her New Year’s resolution by sharing her weight loss diet determination.

The Hollywood debut of Reynolds’ and Lively’s daughters occurred when Ryan was honored with a star on Hollywood’s Walk Of Fame, with the actress and children cheering for him, reported Page Six.

“I want to thank my wife, Blake, who is sitting right there, who is everything to me,” said Reynolds. “You are the best thing, the best thing that has ever happened to me — second only to this star.”

The Deadpool actor described his wife as making “everything better, absolutely everything in my life better,” while also expressing his appreciation for the joys of becoming a dad.

“You’ve made me the father of my dreams when I thought I only had fun uncle potential.”

The event marked the first time that Ryan, Blake, and their daughters have appeared in public together as a family, pointed out E News, which described just how cautious the couple has been when it comes to their children.

“The wildly private parents have kept their children out of the spotlight since their births.”

When Blake tried to get her daughters to join Ryan for photos, James (not yet two-years-old), was much more fascinated with a microphone than posing prettily, although their second daughter stayed calm. (Lively and Reynolds have not yet shared the name of their second child).

But their toddling first-born stole the spotlight, happily playing with the microphone and looking chic in a jacket with a dinosaur print, polka dot top, and tights. Presenter Anna Faris definitely saw the potential in James’ and her tiny sister’s preciousness.

“I might take them home later today,” joked Anna.

Twitter users couldn’t resist cooing over the photos that quickly went viral on social media.

“There was a 0 percent chance of Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s kids turning out ugly. That gene pool is liquid gold baby,” pointed out one user.

As for why Ryan and Blake chose the event as the first at which to appear with their daughters, the 40-year-old actor explained, according to People.

“This is one of the rare occasions when we thought we got to bring the whole clan,” said Reynolds. “I’d regret it in 20 years if I didn’t.”

And Ryan joked about daughter James taking the microphone.

“It’s not the first time she’s snatched a mic out of someone’s hands,” admitted Reynolds. “When she’s 20, she can happily do whatever she wants. Thirty — I’m gonna up that to 30.”

Even though Blake earned compliments along with her kids, she is focused on taking off those post-pregnancy pounds. The actress just revealed that she’s jump-started her New Year’s resolution, and it’s all about weight loss, reported ET.

Turning to Instagram, Lively shared her diet determination.

“New Years resolution started early — I WILL fit into my jeans again gall darnet.”

Blake emphasized that her photo was “not an ad,” adding that it was “me getting it up for healthy food.” Her second daughter was born in September.

The actress earned praise for her stunning bikini body in The Shallows, and celebrity trainer Don Saladino, owner of the Drive Clubs in New York City, talked with Cosmopolitan about the diet and fitness plan that sculpted her sleek physique.

Saladino revealed that Lively is not into calorie-counting, but instead focuses on eating high-quality foods designed to help her metabolism work more efficiently and effectively.

“I don’t think putting someone into a caloric deficit, meaning restricting their calories, is the right thing to do.”

Contending that counting calories “is why a lot of coaches and a lot of people are unsuccessful,” Lively’s trainer revealed that his plan to help the actress stay satisfied is about nutritious foods.

Ryan Reynolds is on board with that diet, and Saladino has feasted at their home.

“She’s a great cook,” praised her trainer. “She and Ryan really enjoy shopping at farmers’ markets, and they pay really good attention to the things they put into their body.”

The trainer detailed what’s involved in following the diet regime.

“Proteins, vegetables, fruits, slow-burning starches like sweet potato, and…healthy fats like avocado, coconut oil, and grass-fed butter.”

It’s not just her diet that is balanced, however. Her fitness program is balanced as well, revealed her trainer. The actress exercises five to six days each week for a duration ranging from 30 to 75 minutes.

Lively’s workout routine includes foam-rolling, mobility work, and alternating upper body, lower body, arms, and interval days. She also does a jump, throw, and carry variation.

“That gets her body temperature up, that gets her really athletic, and it’s my way of doing an upper body, a lower body, and a core movement,” explained Saladino.
