‘Flip Or Flop’ Divorce: Tarek And Christina El Moussa Get Back Together For Coffee, But She’s Dating A Contractor?

Tarek and Christina El Moussa were spotted back together in Southern California this week, just days after confirming their decision to separate. However, their reunion appeared to be nothing more than a friendly coffee date.

Following an announcement on Monday which confirmed that the Flip or Flop couple had separated earlier this year, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were photographed arriving to a Starbucks in Newport Beach, California, where they shared an awkward hug and a few smiles.

On December 15, the Daily Mail shared photos of the estranged couple and claimed Tarek and Christina El Moussa, who was not wearing her wedding ring, were seen chatting as they exited the coffee house. In the photos, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were casually dressed, him in a T-shirt and jeans and her in a light jacket, jeans, and boots.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa walked away from their marriage in May after seven years and two children, six-year-old daughter Taylor Reese and one-year-old son Brayden James, but have yet to officially file for divorce. That said, she has reportedly moved on with a new man — who once worked for her and Tarek.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa are known for their roles on their HGTV house-flipping series, Flip or Flop.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa’s outing comes after Tarek returned to social media and shared his first post since his split was confirmed. In the post, Tarek included a photo of himself and his daughter and noted that the past few days have been crazy.

“Me and the love of my life crushing it!!! It’s been a crazy few days but we love our kids soooo much!! My heart and soul,” read Tarek’s post.

Tarek and Christina El Moussa confirmed they were no longer together on Monday, December 12, with a statement to People Magazine. In their statement, the television stars explained, “Like many couples, we have had challenges in our marriage.”

On Monday, TMZ reported on an incident which had allegedly taken place between the couple in May. At the time, police had reportedly responded to a call about a possibly suicidal male who had fled his home with a gun. However, in their statement, Tarek and Christina El Moussa made it clear that the story was simply a “misunderstanding.”

“We had an unfortunate misunderstanding about six months ago and the police were called to our house in an abundance of caution. There was no violence and no charges were filed,” they revealed.

Following the incident, Tarek and Christina El Moussa sought counseling to “sort out” their relationship but ultimately, they decided to separate while evaluating “the future of our marriage.”

“During the process, we are committed to our kids and being the best parents we can be,” they said in the statement. “We will continue to work through this process civilly and cooperatively, and plan to continue our professional life together.”

Days after they confirmed their split, Tarek and Christina El Moussa revealed they had both began dating other people.

“We have both dated other people following the separation, but neither of us is ready to announce anything in terms of another relationship,” they said.

In regard to who these people are, Tarek’s potential love interest hasn’t been revealed. As for who Christina El Moussa was dating, a second TMZ report claimed she had allegedly struck up a romance with contractor Gary Anderson, who had previously done work for her and Tarek. The report also revealed that Anderson had witnessed the Flip or Flop couple’s alleged fight in May.
