Leah Remini Talks With Ron Miscavige On Upcoming ‘Scientology And The Aftermath’ Installment

Leah Remini has been stirring the pot with Scientology for three years now. When she left the church, she wasn’t prepared for what she would learn. Remini decided to document the stories from high-ranking officials who have since left Scientology, and it was born into a docu-series on the A&E network. Scientology and the Aftermath has garnered a huge response from viewers and opened the eyes of people who may have been considering joining the church.

Three installments have aired, and the next one has Leah Remini talking to someone very surprising. Ron Miscavige is going to be the person featured in the fourth installment of Scientology and the Aftermath. The name may be familiar because his son, David Miscavige, is currently the leader of the church of Scientology. He recently published a tell-all book about his experience in the church and exposed some of the crimes his son reportedly committed. According to the Daily Beast, Ron Miscavige believes his son ruined Scientology. Remini sits down and talks to Miscavige about how his son rose as the leader of the church and other interesting things viewers would likely want to know.

There is a lot of scrutiny surrounding David Miscavige and some of the odd things that have been reported. Leah Remini actually decided to take one incident into her own hands, filing a missing persons report on his wife, Shelly Miscavige, in 2013. That situation is being brought back to light because recently, Remini filed formal paperwork asking for the proof that the LAPD did, infact, look for Miscavige like they were supposed to have done three years ago. Many believe the missing persons report wasn’t taken seriously at all. The rumors suggest that David did something to Shelly and she is being kept as a prisoner at one of the bases Scientology has all over the world. The husband and wife team had a huge argument in 2005 over something to do with the church and roughly a week later, Shelly vanished. She was last publicly seen in 2007 but never again after that. With nearly a decade gone by, ex-Scientologists want to know what happened to Shelly Miscavige.

Speculation is that Leah Remini will touch on the Shelly Miscavige situation with Ron Miscavige when his part airs this Tuesday on the A&E network. There is so much for him to talk about regarding the church and his son, all of it from an interesting viewpoint. Who better knows the important things than the father of David Miscavige? Viewers are expecting some very shocking revelations, ones they didn’t see coming. The church has reportedly done some pretty bad things, but some of the accusations aren’t shocking, especially given what has allegedly been exposed. Remini has a way about her, and when she gains the trust of the ex-scientologists, they just let loose and talk to her about it all. Some of the stories have abuse allegations, while others are just tales of families who have been split apart by the teachings and beliefs of a man who died three decades ago.

Many of the people tuning into see Leah Remini and Scientology and the Aftermath have already watched specials like Going Clear: Scientology and the Prison of Belief. The stories out there about what David Miscavige did and continues to do would shock anyone. As the leader of a church, he should be held to the highest of standards. Viewers are waiting to see what Ron Miscavige will say about David to Leah Remini and to find out if he knows what happened to his daughter-in-law Shelly, or what he believes his son really did with his wife.
