Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly Discusses Out-Of-Control College Professors

Bill O’Reilly is sick and tired of what he believes has gone too far — College professors making alleged Anti-American statements and getting away with it.

“As we have been reporting, many colleges throughout the company have been dominated by far left teachers who are now hysterical about the election of Donald Trump,” he began.

Soon, O’Reilly played a viral video of a Costa Mesa teacher telling her students that Donald Trump is a white supremacist president, and Vice President Mike Pence is one of the most anti-gay people in this country. She said that we are living during a difficult time, but that we can get past that. Perhaps her most controversial statement was that the election of Trump was an actual act of terrorism.

According to the Orange County Register, the teacher, Olga Perez Stable Cox, received many threats and had to leave the state. On Monday, many protested for and against Mrs. Cox.

Bill O’Reilly referred to her comments as gibberish, slander, and lamented what he calls the “assault” of her own students. He noted that she said this in a psychology class, but that Mrs. Cox needs a psychologist herself.

“So, the question should be ‘What should be done to stop the mess?’ It’s a tough question because many college professors have tenure. Also, there’s the freedom of speech issue,” O’Reilly continued, adding that there comes a point when the nation has to be aware of exactly what’s happening in its institutions of higher learning.

After telling his audience that every totalitarian government controlled schools, he said that the totalitarian left will demonize you if you don’t see things their way. He said that students could be punished through the grading system.

“It’s up to each individual state to monitor what happens in their public colleged and high schools. Even in private school, if the institution gets taxpayer money, the state has a right to know what is going on,” O’Reilly angrily said.

O’Reilly believes it’s time for governors to hold college administrators responsible for crazy stuff going on in their classrooms. He said that academic freedom is one thing, but harming students with insane ideology is something else. He then had special guests Geraldo Rivera and Eric Bowling on his show to discuss the issue.

“I think what you should do is remove that teacher…remove her from the classroom, and put her in the back office. I certainly wouldn’t want my son…,” Bowling tried to say before being interrupted by Bill O’Reilly, who noted that the ACLU and others would come to her defense.

After Bill O’Reilly said that even Jerry Brown would not defend the teacher, Geraldo Rivera said that the teacher is free to say anything she wants about anyone and anything. However, Geraldo told O’Reilly that if that teacher grades her students based on their ideology, then action could be taken against the teacher.

“In the classroom, it is illegal [in California] to record a teacher. That is a fact…But the courts have ruled that a teacher cannot have a reasonable expectation of privacy in a classroom, ” Geraldo continued, noting that she shouldn’t be shocked about being recorded when teaching about controversial topics.

According to Bill O’Reilly, this teacher wasn’t teaching anything; she was slandering, and there is a huge difference. The debate about what is going on in college classrooms is only going to get more intense over the next few years.
