NFL Picks Week 15: Experts Predict Giants To Beat Lions, Seahawks To Move Up In Playoff Standings

Week 15 NFL picks have most of the experts agreeing on game outcomes. That includes the Thursday night game (Dec. 15) between the Seattle Seahawks and Los Angeles Rams. A report by on the Week 15 expert picks has the Seahawks unanimously selected to win this game. The Seahawks are back at home for this important game, needing a win to secure a spot in the 2017 NFL Playoffs and possibly move back into the No. 2 slot in the NFC.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, the Detroit Lions took over that No. 2 spot by beating the Chicago Bears and having the Seahawks lose to the Green Bay Packers. Though the Lions are one of the hottest teams in the league, the NFL experts are predicting a Week 15 loss to the New York Giants. The Giants winning that game could put the team closer to the first-place Dallas Cowboys in the NFC East, but the Cowboys are also predicted to beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sunday (Dec. 18).

The Seattle Seahawks aren't the only team unanimously predicted to win in the Week 15 NFL picks. The ESPN experts also unanimously pick the Green Bay Packers to beat the Chicago Bears, the Houston Texans to beat the Jacksonville Jaguars, the Buffalo Bills to beat the Cleveland Browns, the Baltimore Ravens to beat the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs to beat the Tennessee Titans, the Minnesota Vikings to beat the Indianapolis Colts, the Atlanta Falcons to beat the San Francisco 49ers, and the Washington Redskins to beat the Carolina Panthers.

The Kansas City Chiefs are projected to win again and remain the first-place team in the AFC West. The Chiefs took over the No. 2 seed by beating the Oakland Raiders last week and look to maintain that spot in the playoff race. The Raiders are projected to beat the San Diego Chargers on Sunday (Dec. 18) to keep one of the Wild Card slots, while the Denver Broncos are projected to lose to the New England Patriots. A loss by the Broncos puts the team at risk of falling out of the top six slots in the NFL playoff standings for the AFC.

The Monday night game (Dec. 19) in Week 15 has the Carolina Panthers vs. Washington Redskins. Though they are still the defending NFC champions, the Panthers have been unanimously predicted to lose this important game. This could become the ninth loss of the season for the Panthers, which is not even close to where fans and many NFL analysts had predicted the team would finish the 2016 NFL season. As for the Redskins, this game could keep the team in the race for an NFC Wild Card spot.

The Seattle Seahawks may be the team for NFL fans to keep an eye on during the Week 15 games. The Seahawks went to Wisconsin and got embarrassed by the Green Bay Packers in Week 14, with quarterback Russell Wilson playing the worst game of his NFL career. Can the Seahawks bounce back and can the defense prove that it doesn't need Earl Thomas to win games this season? After that, the big game on Sunday (Dec. 18) is the New York Giants vs. Detroit Lions, with both teams needing an important win to improve their playoff scenarios.
