Russell Brand joined the burgeoning British contingent of Gorden Ramsey and Posh Spice as he watched LA Galaxy take on the Seattle Sounders on Sunday evening.
Playing at the Home Depot Center, Brand was able to watch as David Beckham’s daughter Harper showed off her loyal suport for the Galaxy as he father played on the pitch below.
Sat on her mother Victoria’s lap she screamed and chanted for the team as she was surrounded by a hoard of famous celebrities from across the pond. Gordon and Tana Ramsey were in attendance with their brood of sons whilst Brand also made a rogue appearance to support the former England captain.
Brand is a reputed West Ham United fan but showed that his allegiance to the American side by intently watching the contest. Victoria dotted over Harper making sure that she didn’t get up to too much mischief, playing with her hair and allowing her to dance on her lap in elation.
The rest of the Beckham clan was also in attendance, with youngest son Cruz, Brooklyn and Romeo focusing their attention on the game and the rest of the family friends.
Victoria meanwhile has also revealed that she doesn’t mind if Harper grows up to be a tomboy, stating to the French magazine ELLE: “If she turns out to be a tomboy – with three brothers, it can happen – I’ll be OK with that.”
LA Galaxy went on to win the contest 1-0 with an 84 minute strike from Magee after an assist by Robbie Keane.
