Gwen Stefani Takes Weekend Getaway With Blake Shelton,, Sources Say Couple Very Serious Amid Engagement Rumors

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been ensuring to spend quality time together with Gwen’s three sons, who seem to be a fan of the country star.

Over the weekend, Gwen, Blake, and the boys — Kingston, Zuma, and Apollo — took off on a mountain getaway. The crew was spotted walking around Lake Arrowhead, California, which is located in the San Bernardino Mountains, two hours northeast of Los Angeles. Shelton was also spotted drinking, followed by the group dining in a local restaurant, as E! News notes.

“Shelton wore a jacket with a camo-like print and Kingston and Zumo sported T-shirts with the same design. The singer paired his look with a blue button-down shirt, blue jeans, a two-toned blue cap and tan boots. Stefani wore a California Republic state cap, a gold puffy coat, blue jeans and red boots.”

Since the two went public with their relationship a year ago, Blake Shelton has spent quite a bit of time with Gwen’s three sons. The singers met while co-judging on the hit show The Voice and reportedly spent Thanksgiving together for the first time, making it a full family affair. The holiday was also spent with Shelton’s mother and Stefani’s parents. The first meeting with one another’s parents occurred prior to Thanksgiving. Stefani’s parents live in California while Shelton’s mother resides in Oklahoma.

Gwen and Blake are known to gush about one another when they give interviews to the media and during guest appearances on various shows such as The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Recently, Blake paid a visit to the funny lady’s TV program and spoke about his adoration of Gwen.

“It’s been just an eye opener to be with someone like her. I mean, you think Gwen Stefani and No Doubt, and she is literally maybe the most normal person that I’ve ever met in my life. It’s been good for me to be with somebody that’s so grounded and just a good human being with a great heart.”

Since the two went public, Gwen and Blake have continuously been the subject of engagement rumors. Although there has yet to be news of an actual engagement, sources say that the relationship is very serious. The Daily Mail notes that sources have spoken the couple’s wishes, with One noting that Gwen would prefer a wedding with Blake to be more low-key than her first, such as a ceremony at Blake’s ranch in Oklahoma or in the backyard of her California home.

The publication relays the details that have been shared by sources who are reportedly close to the stars.

“In September a source [stated]…’They are both very, very happy. Blake is having the time of his life with Gwen and feels so comfortable around her.’ Another insider previously told the publication that Gwen would like ‘something more low-key than their first weddings. It would likely be at Blake’s ranch [in Oklahoma] or in the backyard. Gwen doesn’t really care, she is just in love with Blake and their life together.”

Gwen and Blake have recently been the subject of negative rumors as well, involving Blake Shelton’s ex-wife Miranda Lambert. The claims surrounding the trio are in regard to Lambert’s new hit album which has reportedly been a bigger success than Gwen’s latest album, and rumors state that this has caused a bit of a feud between the women. There were even fabricated claims that Stefani was set to drop new music directed at Lambert. However, such rumors have all been stamped out as false.
