Luann de Lesseps Wedding: Is ‘RHONY’ Still Marrying Thomas After Cheating Scandal?

Luann de Lesseps is getting married in a few weeks, as she’s planning a New Year’s Eve wedding to Thomas D’Agostino in Palm Springs. Last year, Luann met Thomas in New York and she immediately fell in love. She completely changed her tune on The Real Housewives of New York, as she went from respecting her friends to not caring about their opinions. She ignored all of the red flags that her friends were sending her, including that Ramona Singer and Sonja Morgan had dated Thomas before she met him. In addition, her friends were tired of listening to her excitement over the relationship and they warned her. He eventually cheated on her and it was caught on a photo.

According to a new Bravo report, Luann de Lesseps doesn’t seem to care that Thomas cheated on her, as she feels they have moved on from the cheating scandal. Rather than postponing the wedding and focusing on rebuilding the trust in her relationship, de Lesseps decided to move forward and slam all of her friends for even bringing up the cheating. For a while, it sounded like Luann de Lesseps was more interested in the idea of having a relationship than actually being with Thomas. She wanted to plan a wedding and get married again rather than focus on building a strong relationship.

So, where are her plans to get married? If she is still getting married to Thomas D’Agostino on New Year’s Eve, then she should be getting excited about the wedding. It would be three weeks away at this point. And it sounds like Luann is already planning her wedding and getting the last details done, as she’s getting three wedding dresses by designer, Randi Rahm.

“I love her as a designer. She’s super talented when it comes to bridal and pretty dresses [for the] red carpet. So for this occasion, It’s a big night! We’re getting married. It’s Tom’s 50th birthday. And it’s New Year’s Eve,” Luann de Lesseps has explained about her wedding dress selection, according to Bravo, adding, “So, only Randi can incorporate all of those things into three dresses for the evening.”

It’s very interesting that de Lesseps is planning a huge wedding, where she can wear three different dresses. When the previous season of The Real Housewives of New York aired, Luann de Lesseps was questioning whether she should invite her co-stars to the wedding. And it sounds like she’s still questioning whether she should invite them. But it sounds like de Lesseps may be changing her mind about some of the girls. Luann wants support as she plans on walking down the runway.

“I wanted it to be traditional, but I didn’t want it to be poofy or anything like that. I wanted it to be very figure-flattering so that through the lace you can see my shape, I wanted to look traditional, but I wanted to look sexy,” Luann de Lesseps explains about her three wedding dress choices, sharing that Randi’s designs are perfect for her.

Randi says that her design “has a lot of traditional notes in it, but yet it’s modern and it’s appropriate for her body type, for her elegance, for her stateliness…and it’s traditional…Luann.”

It will be interesting to see if Luann will film the wedding for The Real Housewives of New York and who will be invited. While she is open for support, she doesn’t want any drama on her wedding day – even if it is for ratings.
