Eileen Davidson And Lisa Rinna Lash Out At Lisa Vanderpump For Comment Regarding Eileen’s Husband

Will viewers once again see Eileen Davidson and Lisa Vanderpump at one another’s throats on Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? On the premiere episode that aired last week, Lisa V. and Eileen were clearly still uncomfortable with one another but managed to avoid any direct confrontation. On the latest episode that aired on Tuesday night however, things threatened to turn ugly when Lisa V. made a joke involving Eileen’s husband, Vince Van Patten. While Eileen didn’t lash out at Lisa V. when she made the comment, she made sure to do so in her blog post recapping the episode. Eileen’s co-star and friend Lisa Rinna had even stronger words for Lisa V. in her blog, going so far as saying that Lisa V. perhaps needs to “sew her f**king lips up.”

In her blog post recapping the latest episode, Eileen made it clear that she didn’t find Lisa V.’s comment very funny at all. Eileen accused Lisa V. of “looping a broken record” and trying to “rewrite history.” According to Eileen, Lisa V. is still holding on to what happened in the past instead of trying to move on, which is what she’s doing.

“I wasn’t at Dorit’s party long before it became evident that some of us are still looping a broken record, trying to rewrite history, and others are trying to move to the next track. I know, I am, for one, the latter. Everything else about the subject has already been said. Moving on…”

While Eileen chose to not spend much of her blog discussing Lisa V., Lisa R. made no qualms about letting everyone know what she thinks of Lisa V.’s British humor and joke involving Eileen’s husband. In her blog, Lisa R. said that Lisa V.’s comment about Vince was not an example of British humor but simply “crude and inappropriate.” Lisa R. even suggested that perhaps it’s Lisa V., and not herself, who needs to just stay silent.

“I want to end this by touching on the whole British humor thing. Trust me when I say that I understand and appreciate all types of humor, particularly British humor. However, to respond with, ‘I saw him with his head up another woman’s skirt’ when asked by Eileen if anyone had seen her husband Vinny, was crude and inappropriate. In my opinion, there is no way you can hide behind the guise of ‘British humor’ on this one. To quote Kyle from all of those Season 7 promos we’ve been seeing, perhaps I’m not the ONLY Lisa in this town that needs to sew her f**king lips shut.”

Lisa R.’s criticism of Lisa V. isn’t exactly surprising since she’s very good friends with Eileen, also had a lot of drama with Lisa V. last season, and is constantly being reminded by Lisa V. on the current season that she’s still considered an enemy. Yet even Kyle Richards, who has since the very first season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills professed to be friends with Lisa V., found fault with what Lisa V. said regarding Eileen’s husband. In her blog, Kyle said that perhaps Lisa V. shouldn’t have practiced her British humor on Eileen.

“There’s that British humor Lisa V talks about. A joke. Perhaps Eileen wasn’t the right person to practice this joke on considering the circumstances.”

For her part, Lisa V. now admits that her comment was “wildly inappropriate.” In her blog, Lisa now admits that she was trying to test Eileen and Eileen didn’t take the bait.

“Yes, I was wildly inappropriate in a jesting manner when I uttered the retort to Eileen regarding Vinny, most definitely a retort to see if we could actually go a whole season dwelling on something I had said…but I think she was wise to me. She knew I was looking for a reaction, and she wasn’t going to give me the satisfaction of rising to the bait. Goody, maybe there was hope for us after all. Maybe we could indulge in playful banter and relax a little.”

The second episode featured newbie Dorit Kemsley’s extravagant 40th birthday party. At the party, Lisa Vanderpump complained to some friends about how Americans don’t understand British humor, which according to her allows you to “take a piss” at people and laugh about it. In her confessional interview, Lisa V. explained how British humor is different from American humor.

“The British humor is very different. It’s way more aggressive. It can get you in a little bit of trouble sometimes.”

Lisa V. let her British humor loose when Dorit pulled her into a conversation that she was having with Eileen Davidson. Clearly uncomfortable around Lisa V., Eileen immediately said that she was going to look for her husband, Vince Van Patten, and asked Lisa V. and Dorit if they saw him. Lisa V. gave a response that Eileen did not like.

“Um yeah. I saw him in the corner with his head up somebody’s skirt.”

“I don’t think so,” Eileen responded with a tight smile.

“Sorry,” Lisa V. mumbled.

Eileen stayed silent as she continued to plaster a tight smile on her face.

In her confessional interview, Lisa V. sarcastically said that she hopes she didn’t offend Eileen.

“Well I hope I didn’t offend her. Really…ish.”

During another moment at the party, it seemed as if Lisa V. was going to apologize to Eileen for hurting her feelings. Yet the apology turned out to be for something else.

“I’m sorry… I heard that your mother died.”

On an early The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 6 episode, during a group dinner, Lisa V. asked Eileen about how her relationship with Vince started. Eileen said that she met Vince on The Young and the Restless. Eileen added that she was married at that time and knew that Vince was also and so she was respectful of that. She went on to explain that she and Vince had a friendship for a long time afterwards. Lisa V. then asked about how the friendship turned romantic, using the word “affair.”

“How did the affair start then?”

Eileen, clearly uncomfortable, admitted that she told her husband that they had a situation and that she was having feelings for somebody else. Lisa V. continued to ask about the relationship using the word “affair.”

“So then you met Vinny. You then like had an affair but your husband didn’t know it…”

Eileen clarified that she separated from her husband before anything with Vinny started. Both Lisa Rinna and Kyle Richards, who watched the exchange between Eileen and Lisa V., later both gave their opinions, via their confessional interviews, that Lisa V. was purposefully making Eileen uncomfortable.

In her confessional interview, Lisa V. seemed to rub it in that she has only been married once compared to Eileen’s marriage record.

“What do they say? The third time in marriage is when you get it right? I think I was fortunate enough to get it right the first time.”

Things got even worse between Lisa V. and Eileen as Season 6 progressed after Eileen told Lisa V. how offended she was over the “affair” questioning and Lisa V. made it clear that she thought that Eileen was overreacting. When Lisa V. did offer one of those “I apologize if you took offense to what I said” apologies, Eileen made it clear that she didn’t think that Lisa V. was being genuine and truly remorseful.

As the Inquisitr reported, things between Eileen Davidson and Lisa Vanderpump eventually got so bad that Lisa V., in a blog post, called Eileen “soapy” with infidelity guilt. Lisa V. also went after Lisa Rinna, whom she described as “sudsy” and who wasn’t “not playing with a full deck,” for going after her after being motivated by “soapy” to do so.

Judging by the latest blog posts, it seems that viewers won’t exactly see Eileen Davidson, nor Lisa Rinna, becoming friends with Lisa Vanderpump later on this season of The Real Housewives of Bevelry Hills but perhaps a repeat of what happened last season.
