‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 7: Cersei And The Mountain Are ‘Best Friends’

The Season 7 trailer of Game Of Thrones has efficiently set the mood. The winter is coming. And it is apparently taking everything down this time.

Game Of Thrones has always celebrated the joy of uncertainty. Whatever you expect to happen in the show is probably the last thing to happen there. We love the bravery. We love the treachery. And, more often than not, we love the villains way more than we appreciate the heroes. Season 7 will probably be no exception.

Cersei Lannister is definitely the most hated (read most loved) character on Game Of Thrones. She is sure to rule Season 7, especially when she ended Season 6 on a high. We saw a woman sitting on the Iron Throne for the first time, no matter how temporary her stint as the ruler may be.

There are six more months before we binge-watch Game Of Thrones Season 7. The trailer has definitely raised the mercury. More updates are coming from the characters of the show. Now, Cersei has shared some hilarious images on social media to keep the fire burning.

Of course, Cersei does not use social media. It is Lena Headey who plays the character. The Game Of Thrones actress has so far been quite silent about Season 7. Maybe she is the one who prefers to be silent before shocking the viewers with another twist in the tale.

The Game Of Thrones Season 7 trailer revealed about Khaleesi. The trailer also revealed about Stark sisters, Sansa and Arya. It had Jon Snow, to say the least. While everyone has started speculating about the possibilities on the show, Lena has decided to reveal about her best friend, The Mountain.

Now, everyone knows how crucial a part The Mountain plays in fulfilling Cersei’s political ambitions. Gregor Clegane was fatally wounded during his fight with Oberyn Martell whose skull he eventually crushed. The Hound’s brother has since been given a new life by Qyburn. Cersei’s new bodyguard will guard her against every enemy who dares to stand before her.

But Lena’s update on social media is more about her personal friendship with Hafthor Julius Bjornsson, who plays The Mountain on Game Of Thrones. We don’t know how the equation between Cersei and her bodyguard will develop in Season 7. But it appears that these two actors have developed a strong bond in their personal life.

Bjornsson is 6? 9? and weighs 395 lbs. Lena, on the other hand, is 5? 5? and weighs 119 pounds. The contrast between the two was highlighted in a funny manner by the Game Of Thrones actress. She shared two photos. One had their legs together, and the other had their hands together. With the look of it, Bjornsson seems to be the perfect bodyguard for Lena. His huge body is capable of scaring any mortal.

As Lena shared the image of their legs together, she gave a suitable caption to it. “They even fly together,” she wrote as the two were photographed on a Croatia Airlines flight, according to Yahoo News.

This tiny detail may have revealed a bit about Game Of Thrones Season 7. It has given a little more than what the trailer offers. The flight was apparently heading to Dubrovnik, Croatia. In Season 5, the place was used as the shooting location for the King’s Landing. In Season 6, the location was changed to Spain.

Since both Bjornsson and Lena were seen flying to Dubrovnik together, one may wonder what they are up to in King’s Landing. While some fans speculate that Cersei is the “Mad Queen” on Game Of Thrones, the makers have thoughtfully kept everything a top secret.

Fans have to wait for six more months to watch Game Of Thrones Season 7.
