This show has been put into development with ABC. This new show will be from creator Marc Cherry, who is famous for the show Desperate Housewives. He was also the creator of Devious Maids on Lifetime, which just ended after four seasons. There was a huge bidding war for the show that ABC ended up getting the pilot for. This new show that will allegedly star Reba McEntire is said to be a “Southern Gothic soap opera.” The show will all be about what happens after what appears to be an act of terrorism happens at a Fourth of July parade in the small town of Oxblood, Kentucky. An FBI agent will be sent there to team up with a local sheriff to solve the crime.

This show would star Reba, and viewers are wondering what part she will play. She could be the local sheriff, but that is just speculation. Marc Cherry will serve as executive producer and showrunner for the new series. Reba McEntire had her hit show Reba and was also on the show Malibu Country. A lot has changed in her life since this time considering that Reba is now divorced.

Last year, Marc Cherry had a show pilot picked up by the CW, but it never became a series. Only time will tell if this new show that could star Reba McEntire will end up getting picked up. The viewers would love to see this happen.

Fox News shared that Reba McEntire is revealing that she hasn’t given up on the idea of love even though her last marriage ended in divorce. Reba just released a Christmas album called Reba: My Kind of Christmas, which is only available at Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores. Reba said, “It’s the first acoustic album I’ve ever recorded.” It took a bit for it to get out there, but fans are happy to hear it now. She recorded this album five years ago, but the tracks just sat on a shelf. Reba shared the details.

“I called my piano player, Kathryn Marks, I said, ‘Kathryn, come in the studio and let’s lay down some tracks of Christmas songs in case anybody ever asked me to go do a Christmas party or something.”

Reba is divorced but said she is still close to her stepson Brandon Blackstock and his wife, Kelly Clarkson. She shared saying, “I saw them at Thanksgiving and now I am getting to see them at Christmas. They are busy. She is really busy traveling a lot, and she takes the kids with them all the time.” When it comes to possibly finding love again, Reba McEntire isn’t giving up on the idea either. She shared her thoughts.

“I’m just kind of winging it and taking it one day at a time and loving life, enjoying being with my friends and family as much as I can. I think it’s always nice to have somebody to go to dinner with and fall in love with. I don’t see anything wrong with that at all.”
