‘RHOBH’ Star Erika Girardi Talks Season 7: ‘It’s Not Just A Bunch Of B***hes’

Season 7 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is officially underway, and Erika Girardi is convinced that fans aren’t going to be disappointed. While there will be plenty of drama this season, Girardi revealed that it’s not all about fighting.

During an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the reality star dished on what’s ahead in Season 7. From luxurious trips across the world to exploring more about her alter ego, Girardi revealed that the coming season isn’t “just a bunch of b***hes who get together and fight.”

“I’m having a lot of fun. We get to know a lot about me, Erika. We saw a lot of Erika Jayne last year, well we see a lot of Jayne this year too, but we get to see a little more about who I am and where I’ve come from, which I think is great,” Girardi shared. “We take a lot of trips to Hong Kong, Mykonos, and Mexico so there’s a lot of lifestyle glamour and fun.”

When it comes to her co-stars, Girardi admitted that all of the women on the show work hard in their professional lives. Girardi believes everyone’s success adds another dimension to the show and is one thing she really enjoys about being a part of the RHOBH.

“What I find enjoyable about my cast is that everyone is working, like I said earlier, whether it’s Lisa with her restaurants, Kyle has her new show on TV Land, Rinna has her QVC line, and Eileen is still on The Young and the Restless. Everyone has their thing that it adds such a great layer,” she explained. “It’s not just a bunch of b***hes who get together to fight.”

Speaking of her co-stars, Bustle reports that Yolanda Hadid’s exit after last season changed everything for Girardi. Erika formed a close bond with Hadid in Season 6 and admitted that she was scared about moving forward without her BFF.

“It’s true,” Girardi stated. “You know, I lost my buddy, which was scary for a second, because I thought, ‘Wow.’ But, at the same time, too, it also opened me up to be friendly with everyone a little bit more. I really got to know everyone else a little bit deeper.”

Although Girardi made new friends this season, Too Fab reports that she feuded with newcomer Dorit Kemsley. In fact, a new trailer reveals that the women had a heated exchange during a trip to Hong Kong.

“You know, I get asked this question, ‘What problem do you have with Dorit?’ and my answer is, ‘I don’t, she has a problem with me,'” Girardi explained.

In an interview with E! News, Girardi revealed that her feud with Kemsley was expected, especially considering how this is Kemsley’s first season. Unfortunately, Girardi did not reveal how long their feud lasts and whether or not they resolve their issues by the end of the season.

When asked to sell the new season to fans, Girardi revealed that the new cast members bring a lot of energy to the table. Given all the casting shakeups, they also help change the group dynamics.

“I think you’re going to like it. Like I said earlier, it’s a lot of lifestyle with great trips, but we have two new members with Dorit [Kemsley] and Eden [Sassoon] for some new energy. You see the dynamics of the group change a bit, so it’s fun. I get to know everyone a little bit better because this is year two for me. The friendships get a little bit deeper. I had a lot of fun, I really did,” she said.
