Selena Gomez Is Back! ‘Hands To Myself’ Singer Scores New $10 Million Deal After Rehab Stint

Selena Gomez is back and better than ever! MTV reports that Gomez is officially the new face of Coach, a top leather goods brand and leader in the production of luxurious accessories. Weeks after her stint in rehab, the “Hands to Myself” singer landed a $10 million deal with the company, firmly cementing her comeback.

Gomez will serve as the company’s new face and will also design a line of glamorous accessories. Details about the new of products are slim, though Gomez’s personal style makes her a perfect fit for Coach.

According to Hollywood Life, Gomez stepped away from the limelight for the past few months as she concentrated on getting her life back in order. The pop star was struggling with mental issues related to her fight with lupus, and it appears as though her 90-day break paid off.

Gomez has been steadily making her way back to Hollywood in recent weeks. On Black Friday, Gomez shared a photo on social media and looked happier than ever hanging out with her good friends. Just last week, the singer was spotted eating dinner in Los Angeles and looked more than comfortable being out and about.

The outings come after a difficult time for the singer. This past summer, E! News reports that Gomez was forced to cancel her Revival tour and later checked herself into rehab to deal with depression and anxiety.

“As many of you know, around a year ago I revealed that I have lupus, an illness that can affect people in different ways,” Gomez told fans at the time. “I’ve discovered that anxiety, panic attacks and depression can be side effects of lupus, which can present their own challenges.”

Gomez continued, “I want to be proactive and focus on maintaining my health and happiness and have decided that the best way forward is to take some time off. Thank you to all my fans for your support.”

Gomez went silent for months and reportedly stopped checking her phone until she overcame her mental issues. She made her first public appearance during the 2016 American Music Awards last month.

The singer was named “best dressed” on the red carpet and later nabbed one of the most notable awards of the night. In her acceptance speech, Selena Gomez spoke directly to fans about her struggles and encouraged others who are experiencing the same problems.

“I think it’s safe to say most of you know my life whether I liked it or not. And I had to stop. Because I had everything. And I was absolutely broken inside,” she told the audience. “I kept it all together enough to where I would never let you down, but I kept it too much together to where I let myself down.”

In an inspiring conclusion, Gomez added, “If you are broken, you do not have to stay broken. That’s one thing you should know about me: I care about people. And this is for you.”

Gomez has clearly transformed her life. Although some fans expected her to return to the limelight after the awards, the singer has been taking her career in new directions and isn’t afraid go off the grid.

“It was the most refreshing, calming, rejuvenating feeling,” she stated. “Now I rarely pick up my phone and only limited people have access to me.”

Speaking of her friends, the Inquisitr has previously reported that Gomez is not getting back with Justin Bieber any time soon. Given her recent health issues, the singer is not looking for a relationship at the moment, and neither is Bieber.

“For the time being she’s been advised not to date,” an insider revealed. “Plus, dating is pretty much the last thing on her mind now. She is focused on herself and spending time with close friends.”
