Michael Buble Update: Good News As Noah Buble Will Be Home For Christmas After Cancer Treatment

Michael Buble and his wife Luisana have good news as their son Noah, 3, who has been battling liver cancer will be well enough to leave the hospital to spend Christmas with his family. Normally, the Buble family would head to Canada for the holidays, but Noah is having treatment in Los Angeles, and so the family will celebrate together in California.

Last month, Michael Buble shared the terrible news with his fans that son Noah Buble, age three, was diagnosed with liver cancer after spiking a high fever, says the Inquisitr. Michael Buble’s wife, Luisana Lopilato, took Noah to the doctor in Argentina with a fever and a sore throat, thinking that he had a strep infection or mono, only to find that he had liver cancer. The family made the decision to take Noah to Los Angeles for a second opinion and treatment. Though Michael Buble admits his family is devastated, they also consider themselves lucky that a diagnosis was made in time. Noah Buble was started on a chemotherapy regimen immediately after the cancer diagnosis was made.

The Daily Mail says that Noah Buble has been considered well enough to leave the hospital to spend Christmas with his family in Los Angeles. While the family would have normally spent the Christmas holiday in the Canadian singer’s Vancouver estate, the additional travel would be too taxing on Noah, who must continue chemotherapy for at least three more months.

Luisana’s family will be traveling from Argentina to Los Angeles for the holiday, including her brother, Dario, and her father, Eduardo. Her mother, Beatriz, is already in California with the Bubles, as she has been since Noah started treatment. It is believed that Noah will undergo surgery to remove the tumor next month, and experts say he has a 90% chance of beating the disease.

An Argentine magazine says that Noah has gotten through the first month of treatment like a little warrior.

‘This is without doubt the best present for his parents and the relatives who have been helping them out since they learnt about his cancer diagnosis. To celebrate this good piece of news, the artists’ families will travel to the United States to spend Christmas with Noah and make it one of the most special Christmases they have had together.”

Doctors believe that first shrinking the tumor is the best way to guarantee success from the surgery planned for next month, says US Weekly. Michael Buble and wife Luisana, who also have an eleven-month-old son, Elias, have said that they are both putting their careers on hold to be at the side of their son, Noah.

“We are devastated about the recent cancer diagnosis of our oldest son, Noah, who is currently undergoing treatment in the U.S. We have always been very vocal about the importance of family and the love we have for our children.”

Buble says that they are sad, but hopeful that Noah will make a full recovery, and very grateful for the thoughts and prayers of their fans.

“Luisana and I have put our careers on hold in order to devote all our time and attention to helping Noah get well. At this difficult time, we ask only for your prayers and respect for our privacy. We have a long journey in front of us and hope that with the support of family, friends and fans around the world, we will win this battle, God willing.”

And though the family is still in shock, they are overjoyed to spend Christmas with Noah and their whole family outside of the hospital.
