Gigi Hadid is reportedly a loyal girlfriend when it comes to her boyfriend, Zayn Malik, and the supermodel also is known as a close friend of Taylor Swift. But did Hadid take her loyalty to a new level by asking Taylor to collaborate with Zayn? That’s the allegation after Swift and Malik surprised everyone by teaming up for a sizzling and successful song.

Swift and Malik collaborated on “I Don’t Want to Live Forever” for the 50 Shades Darker soundtrack and earned immediate excitement, noted Heat, which speculated that Hadid had asked Taylor “to collaborate with Zayn Malik to save his career.”

Just one hour after the release, it soared to number one. But an insider told Heat that the enthusiasm “was down to Zayn’s girlfriend, Gigi Hadid,” claiming that Hadid had known that Taylor was going to do the 50 Shades song and made the request.

“[Gigi] knew Taylor was being lined up to do a 50 Shades song, and she begged Taylor to include Zayn on the track.”

The source also revealed that Swift “loves” Hadid, who is “one of her closest friends and she’d do anything for her.” Commenting that Taylor “could have done this with anyone,” the insider alleged that Swift “did it with Zayn for Gigi.”

According to the media outlet, it was in 2012 that Malik and Swift first met. At that time, she reportedly was dating his One Direction bandmate Harry Styles. Zayn and Taylor subsequently reconnected, and Hadid and Malik were allegedly seen visiting Swift at her New York home, reported Heat.

But Hadid’s influence reportedly didn’t end with her alleged conversation with Taylor, according to the media outlet, which also claimed that the supermodel “put a word in with Lena Dunham, whose boyfriend Jack Antoff, wrote the song.”

The insider shared how Gigi reportedly feels about Malik.

“Gigi would do anything for Zayn, including putting in a word with her famous friends.”

And the source also revealed that Hadid views her boyfriend as “the most talented musician on the planet.”

Hollywood Life described a different version of what inspired Taylor and Malik to team up for the sizzling song “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” citing an insider who revealed that Gigi’s suggestion that her boyfriend and friend work together was made to both of them.

“It was Gigi who originally suggested they work on a song together.”

The source revealed that the suggestion was made in September. At that time, Swift reportedly was “spending time with Gigi and Zayn after her breakup with Tom,” according to the insider.

“Gigi brought up the idea when the three of them went out to dinner in NYC,” added the source.

Consequently, when the door opened for Taylor to find a singer as a partner for “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever,” the insider revealed that Swift “immediately thought of Zayn.”

“It’s a sexy song, the perfect song for them to collaborate on,” added the source.

Hadid showed her support for Swift and her boyfriend’s song on Twitter, sharing the artwork.

But until their revelation on social media, Malik and Taylor succeeded in keeping their collaboration of “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” for the upcoming Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack a surprise, noted E! News.

After the iTunes release, the collaboration soared to number one, and Swift shared the success on Instagram.

“Well that escalated quickly. @jackantonoff @zayn @sam_dew,” posted Taylor.

Swift penned the song with Jack Antonoff, who is the boyfriend of her friend Lena Dunham, as well as singer-songwriter Sam Dew. Jack turned to Twitter to describe how the song was created.

“I don’t wanna live forever came together very quickly. wrote it with taylor and sam dew and produced it at home mostly on paper sounds,” wrote Jack.

He revealed that it took about a week to put it all together, crediting Swift as well as Malik.

“Recorded taylor at my house. zayn sent parts from LA – we did it in a week basically. i’ve never had something come out that quick,” summed up Antonoff.
