‘Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Mariah’s Fall Generates Buzz, Hilary Bristles, And Lily Woos Cane [Updated]

What’s coming up during the week of December 12 on The Young and the Restless? Spoilers tease that Mariah’s takeover of the GC Buzz will bring about some shockers while Nick and Chelsea will grow closer to one another. Phyllis is angling to help Lauren save her company and work on moving forward while Victor will be taking some time to look toward the past. Lily is aiming to distract Cane and the week brings more drama with other Newmans and Abbotts as well.

Devon fired Hilary and begged Mariah to host the GC Buzz event for Chelsea’s new line and Mariah tripped and fell during the live broadcast. Young and Restless spoilers from SheKnows Soaps detail that Chloe will hold Sharon and Chelsea back from helping Mariah after the fall, and she manages to pull herself together and sign off of the show. We Love Soaps indicates that as Mariah struggles with being in the spotlight, Devon will be scrambling to save the GC Buzz.

Chelsea will be pretty horrified by how the broadcast went, worrying that it’ll reflect poorly on her line, and naturally, Mariah is horrified that she’s now become an internet meme. Hilary will be smirking and won’t be shy about trying to use this to her advantage, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that she’ll tell Devon that if he apologizes sufficiently, she’ll take her job back. Devon will admit that he pushed his stand-in host too hard, too soon, but amid all of the laughing and mockery, it seems that there will be growing buzz online that supports Mariah.

Hilary may have been intent on taking down Mariah in order to snag her hosting gig back, but it sounds as if her antics may backfire on her. In addition, Young and Restless spoilers share that Faith will mention to her sister that perhaps there was something that caused her to fall, and it may not take long for the truth to come to the surface on this front. Nick will lend his support to a worried Chelsea and as the week continues, Chelsea will do some serious reflection on her feelings for him.

Cane has been struggling in his recovery from his surgery and viewers can see that there is likely a pill addiction starting to brew for him. The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that during Tuesday’s show Lily will get a bit jealous over the therapist’s influence on Cane, but she soon turns things around to try to distract and seduce him.

Victor will do some reflecting on some of the difficult moments in his past during Wednesday’s show and there is more drama ahead between Nikki and Sharon. Victor will be struggling with the guilt he feels over Adam’s death and it sounds as if he’ll be considering how much harder he’s taking this death than he had realized. The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that he’ll open up to Nikki about it all and talk about how he wants to smooth things over with his other children.

As this all plays out, Young and Restless spoilers share that Victor will ask Nick to take on the role of president at Newman, paving the way for him to eventually run the company on his own, and Victor will suggest that Noah take over the Underground. However, Nick reportedly declines the offer and this leads Victor to sort through his priorities and talk with Nikki about their future.

Victoria broke things off with Travis after learning he’d slept with Michelle, and she’ll be losing her temper in the days ahead as she struggles to keep things under control. There’s more on the way between Billy and Jack and it sounds as if Phyllis will start to be excited about moving forward.
