Trudy Hill Photos: California Teacher Allegedly Sent Naked Pictures, Had Oral Sex With 17-Year-Old Student

Trudy Hill is under arrest after police in California accused the teacher of sending naked photos and later having oral sex with a 17-year-old student.

Hill, 32, an English teacher at Santa Teresa High School in San Jose, was arrested last week after surrendering to investigators at the San Jose Police Department, the Mercury News reported.

Police said that Hill struck up the relationship with the student around August of this year, with Police Sgt. Enrique Garcia saying the teacher “used her position of authority to exploit the victim into a sexual relationship.”

After Trudy Hill was arrested, the East Side Union High School District released a statement noting that she had been placed on leave. District officials said they were “deeply disturbed” by the allegations against the teacher.

District officials said they had conducted a background check before hiring Hill three years ago, but that it showed no signs of trouble.

As the New York Daily News noted, Trudy Hill is now the fourth teacher in the San Jose district to be accused of sexual misconduct in the past year.

“Earlier in the year, a 35-year-old interim vice principal at James Lick High was arrested for an alleged inappropriate relationship with a 17-year-old female student.

“In March, a 21-year-old assistant track coach at Mt. Pleasant High was arrested for alleged relationships with two students, one 14 and the other 17 years old.

“And in June, a 33-year-old wrestling coach at Independence High was arrested for alleged lewd acts with a 14-year-old girl in a summer wrestling program, according to the Mercury News.”

The allegations against Trudy Hill also come just days after another headline-grabbing teacher arrest. In Texas, 23-year-old Alaina Danielle Ferguson was arrested for allegedly having sex with a 16-year-old boy on several occasions. The two first connected on SnapChat, and the relationship escalated with Ferguson allegedly sending nude photos to the boy.

Police said Ferguson was initially engaged with her live-in boyfriend when the relationship started, but the teacher told the boy she planned to break off the relationship because she “didn’t feel anything” with her fiance, the New York Post reported.

Ferguson allegedly met the boy in a park for sex, and then the two met up again at Ferguson’s apartment while the teacher’s fiance was away for the weekend, CBS News reported. Police said Ferguson had pizza with the teen and his friend, then had sex with the 16-year-old victim when his friend left to take a dog for a walk.

The pair met at least one other time, having sex in the student’s pickup truck, police claimed.

Before the allegations that she had sex with a 17-year-old student, Trudy Hill was regarded as a well-liked teacher, reports noted. Online reviews noted that she was a hands-on teacher who was involved with every student.

“Her class is the type of class you actually want to wake up early in the morning and go to,” one reviewer wrote (via the Mercury News). “She is willing to work with any student she has and even adjusts her teaching style along the way based on her students’ suggestions and requests.”

But one negative review noted that Hill could seem distracted, with the commenter saying that she was “always on her phone” during class.

The allegations against Trudy Hill went viral over the weekend, garnering coverage from national news outlets. Also gaining attention was Hill’s mugshot photo, which appeared to show the teacher sporting a smirk.

Teacher Trudy Hill was booked last week on charges of sending harmful matter to a minor and oral copulation with a minor.
