‘Fifty Shades Darker’ Soundtrack: Taylor Swift And Zayn Malik Duet ‘I Don’t Want To Live Forever’ Rises To No. 1 On iTunes In One Hour

The Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack is set to be a star-studded affair, and leading the way are music icons Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik. Their new track, “I Don’t Want To Live Forever,” will serve as the theme song for the Fifty Shades of Grey sequel.

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, the former One Direction bad boy, are representative of the most in-demand and highly-paid stars in the music business. Taylor Swift and One Direction are numbers one and two respectively on the Forbes Celebrity 100. Zayn Malik has had nothing but success since leaving One Direction, with his solo album Mind of Mine, and sexy R&B single “Pillowtalk.”

Fifty Shades Darker is scheduled for release in theaters on February 14, 2017. Yes, Valentine’s Day, so it will be perfect for mature date nights. As the sequel to the box office smash, Fifty Shades of Grey, there are high expectations for the movie’s box office revenue, according to The Sun.

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik released the Fifty Shades Darker theme song in advance of the film’s premiere, which should get the audience pumped to see the steamy adult romance, based on the novel by E.L. James. If reaction to the Swift and Malik collaboration is any indication of excitement over the Fifty Shades Darker film, it should be a real chart topper as well. “I Don’t Want To Live Forever” topped the iTunes charts in a single hour, according to The Guardian.

The Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack reads like a music awards nominations list. Taylor Swift also contributed “Wildest Dreams” to the soundtrack, and Zayn Malik’s “Pillowtalk” will also be featured. In addition, Ariana Grande’s “Into You,” Rihanna’s “You Have My Heart,” Selena Gomez’s “Good For You,” Justin Bieber’s “Let Me Love You,” and Miguel’s cover of Beyonce’s “Crazy In Love,” will all be part of the soundtrack.

Taylor Swift and Zayn Malik, despite their steamy song, which was written by Taylor especially for the film, are anything but hot for each other. The two are only very good friends and there are two very good reasons, Gigi Hadid and Harry Styles.

Taylor Swift used to date Zayn Malik’s former bandmate, Harry Styles. More importantly, Taylor is a very dear friend of supermodel Gigi Hadid, who happens to be the love of Zayn’s life. Of course, nothing could ever really go on between them, despite the fun that people are having as they talk about the super sexy song, written especially for the film Fifty Shades Darker.

The Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack and movie are much-anticipated by fans, but at least they don’t have to wait to hear the theme song. “I Don’t Want To Live Forever” is available now on iTunes.
