There is no need to worry about Angelina Jolie going broke. Her divorce with Brad Pitt is not causing her to go hungry, despite a story from the print edition of OK! that Gossip Cop summarizes.

As the article notes, the tabloid also says that Jolie is paying private investigators to dig up dirt on Mr. Pitt and offering them a huge payment to guarantee discretion. They hint that this is what is really causing Ms. Jolie to go broke. However, Gossip Cop says the story is completely fabricated.
“Angelina Jolie is NOT going broke following her divorce from Brad Pitt, despite an inaccurate tabloid report. Gossip Cop can exclusively bust this claim. We’re told it’s not true,” says columnist Andrew Shuster, adding that he checked in with a rep for Jolie, who exclusively assured that Jolie’s financial situation is fine.
The rumor about Angelina’s finances follows another false rumor that was started by Celebrity Dirty Laundry, which wanted you to believe that Billy Bob Thornton was trying to woo Angelina back into his arms.

“Billy Bob Thornton is once again opening up about his ex-wife Angelina Jolie. In fact, many sources say there’s a good chance that Billy Bob is trying to win back Angelina, as he’s not only praising her in his interviews but also defending her name and reputation.”
The article added that in an interview with The Daily Beast, Billy Bob had nothing but gushing things to say about his ex-wife and that he would “defend her to death.” Thornton also says he can’t understand why so many people bash Jolie when she’s gone out of her way to do so much work for those in need. Unfortunately, plenty of people bashed Jolie in the comments section after the article.
“Any man who wants Jolie deserves the hell she puts them through. Brad was an idiot to ever leave Jen for someone who is rather unhinged,” said 12Feliciene.
“The only ‘she’s gone out of her way to do so much work for those in need’ was herself. Anyone can read speeches someone else wrote. This woman is a publicity junkie and uses people’s suffering as a vessel to get it,” claimed Bubbly.
It looks like despite all the hype this story caused, it just wasn’t true – at least according to Gossip Cop.
“Billy Bob Thornton is NOT trying to win back Angelina Jolie, despite a ridiculous webloid report. Gossip Cop can correct this claim. We’re told it’s false,” said columnist Holly Nicol, who added that a source close to Mr. Thornton confirmed so.
Meanwhile, Us Weekly reports that Angelina Jolie has been photographed for the first time since her messy divorce.
“The Maleficent star, 41, dressed in all black and went without her wedding ring as she and her children were seen arriving at the Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles on Thursday, December 8. The actress has been keeping a low profile since her bombshell decision to file for divorce from Pitt, 52, in late September.”
Us Weekly also reports that Jolie has been looking for a new house in Los Angeles so her six kids can continue to have a relationship with Pitt, who is seeking joint custody of the kids. It looks like Angelina and Brad are doing their best to make their children happy.
