‘Days Of Our Lives’: Vincent Irizarry On Deimos Kiriakis – Will Nicole Get Her Baby? Help From Someone Unexpected On ‘DOOL’ [Spoilers]

Days Of Our Lives character Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) has been going out of his mind about Chloe Lane’s (Nadia Bjorlin) baby. For months, he has been convinced that he is the biological father. Even with two paternity tests ruling him out, he couldn’t let it go. Now, he realizes that he is not the father. Deimos knows that Chloe’s baby belongs to Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Daniel Jonas (formerly Shawn Christian). A recent phone conversation has Deimos planning his next move. Recently, Irizarry previewed what is coming next for his character. He spoke about Deimos kidnapping and drugging Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier) and it turns out someone will burst in and stop the chaos.

Last week on Days Of Our Lives, Philip and Nancy (Patrika Darbo) spoke about Chloe’s situation on the phone. Overhearing the conversation, Deimos was determined to find out the truth. He just won’t let it go and will take drastic measures to get the truth out of Philip. It was already revealed that next week, Philip will get kidnapped and injected with something. As speculated by the Inquisitr, that substance is a truth serum. In an interview with Soap Opera Digest, actor Vincent Irizarry talked about what fans can expect.

“So he has Philip kidnapped. As far as this baby is concerned, Philip hasn’t been forthcoming about anything. Deimos already knows that he’s not going to get anything from Philip just by asking him. So Deimos decides the best thing to do is put Philip under a drug that causes him to tell the truth.”

However, something happens to stop the crazy plan. Just as Deimos is getting information from Philip, Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) bursts in. Deimos ends up trying to explain to Brady why kidnapping and drugging Philip is the only option. He ends up being forced to tell Brady the shocking truth – that Chloe is is pregnant with Daniel and Nicole’s baby. Understandably, Brady thinks Deimos has finally lost his mind. However, he allows Deimos to explain how he came to this conclusion.

“Nicole wanted a child just as much as Deimos did. Chloe is supposed to be Nicole’s friend and she’s withholding the truth from her. Philip is also complicit. It’s something that is abhorrent to Deimos. This doesn’t just affect Nicole; by depriving the baby of its real parent, the child could be affected for the rest of his, or her, life. Deimos also sees Nicole as someone who could possibly be one of the best mothers ever. She has the maternal instinct and is a kind, loving person.”

Eventually, Deimos realizes that the reason why Philip and Chloe have been so secretive about the baby is because of him. This creates even more complications on Days Of Our Lives. Deimos and Nicole are in love. Even though he has done some bad things, he really is trying to be the best man possible and it is because of his love for Nicole Walker. No matter what the reason is, Chloe has no right to keep such a huge secret from Nicole.

Brady decides to help Deimos find proof that Daniel and Nicole are the baby’s parents. Kiriakis also wants to find the doctor that was involved in getting Chloe pregnant.

“He’s trying to get to the truth for Nicole’s sake.”

If Deimos can find evidence that Chloe is carrying Daniel and Nicole’s baby, it could be the best gift ever. For years, Nicole has accepted the fact that she could never have children. When Chloe agreed to be a surrogate, they thought there was hope. However, those dreams were destroyed when Daniel died in a car accident. Unknown to Nicole, Chloe tried IVF a second time after Daniel’s death. The result is a shocking pregnancy storyline and Nicole deserves to have her baby.
