Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton: Why Prince Harry’s Girlfriend Should Be Preparing To Learn From The Duchess
It seems Prince Harry is moving forward swiftly in his relationship with Suits actress Meghan Markle, who is also a humanitarian. Harry verified that he is, in fact, in a relationship with Markle after rumors began to swirl.
Since the prince spoke out about the desire for media to respect Markle’s privacy and for social media trolls to refrain from posting any more negative remarks, Markle has been spotted around Kensington Palace, where she is said to have stayed for a time. Markle has reportedly even met Prince William and Kate Middleton, which is surely a good sign for the romance between her and Harry.
Despite moving forward and becoming more serious, experts have stated that it is too soon for Meghan Markle to be invited to join in on the royal family’s Christmas traditions and celebrations, yet reports state that she and Harry are making their own separate holiday plans. As E! News reports, if the relationship continues to move forward, the masses will begin to expect Meghan to be like Kate, with the same charm, poise, and grace while in the spotlight. Lucky for Meghan, she is used to having the spotlight on her. Whereas Middleton came from a common life and family, Markle has attended several red carpet events as a celebrity over the last few years.

Even though Markle has handled the media and spotlight well over the years, Middleton remains a role model for the actress. E! Online states that Kate sets the standard.
“Kate has set the modern gold standard for the very uncommon mission she chose to accept by marrying Prince William, the man second in line to the throne in the U.K., and those who have become her biggest fans have no reason to want anything different down the road.”
It is, however, worth noting that Harry does not have quite as much pressure on him as his older brother, seeing as Harry is not likely to be king. He is now fifth in line for the throne, while his brother is second in line after their father, Prince Charles. Because of this fact, there would therefore not be as much pressure on Markle as there constantly is on Kate Middleton.
Even so, if Meghan and Kate bond like they probably will (or already have), the actress has the best resource to draw from as she familiarizes herself with the rules and traditions of the British Monarchy and the unfamiliar experience of being courted by a member of the royal family and one of the world’s most eligible bachelors.

Despite knowing the real connection Kate and Markle may have, it’s very safe to say that Kate Middleton is a good friend to have, and it is a well-known fact that she has the full admiration of Prince Harry. The two clearly have a great bond, and it is likely that Markle and Middleton will also connect and the duchess will welcome the new love of Harry while teaching her the ways of the royals from a commoner’s perspective.
There has been some talk and claims being made that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are so serious that people see marriage in the cards in the very near future for the couple. The Observer reports on the rumors that have surfaced.
“One major sign is that the happy couple has been spotted wearing matching bracelets in public, even if they haven’t been photographed together yet. These aren’t Limited Too friendship bracelets, and it’s not the same as everyone you know owning the same exact Cartier Love bangle. It’s the equivalent of religious high schoolers exchanging promise rings. Perhaps the next jewelry trade will be an upgrade, in the form of diamonds?”
