Angelina Jolie Is Not Going Broke As She Allegedly Attempts To Dig Up Dirt On Brad Pitt [Debunked]

Angelina Jolie is not going broke, despite what a recent rumor suggests.

While the 41-year-old actress is currently in the midst of a divorce and custody battle with Brad Pitt, 52, the father of her six children, Gossip Cop can confirm that a recent report shared about Jolie’s finances and allegedly dwindling net worth is not true.

According to an OK! Magazine report on December 8, Angelina Jolie’s legal and security bills allegedly have her “running out of cash quickly.”

As she and Pitt reportedly remain at odds over the custody of their kids, including Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, an insider claims Jolie is allegedly paying private investigators to uncover dirt on Pitt and offering them “a huge surcharge to guarantee discretion.”

“[Angelina Jolie]’s always been a big spender, but until now she’s had Brad’s money to blow… She’s going through her own money like water,” the OK! Magazine insider claimed.

In response to the report, however, a rep for Angelina Jolie told Gossip Cop that the actress’s financial situation was not a concern, nor was her split from Pitt threatening her net worth.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were married for two years and were together for 12 years. Since filing for divorce, Angelina Jolie has been living with her children in a rented home in Malibu, California, as Pitt lives on his own.

Following Jolie’s divorce filing, it was reported that the actress was struggling to keep her children happy as they continued to see their father only during supervised visits.

“Angelina Jolie has been struggling with keeping the kids happy,” an insider told Hollywood Life weeks ago. “It’s been weeks since the kids moved out of their home and they are getting homesick. The children are sad, miss the huge house they grew up in, and have been complaining to Angelina that they want to go home. The older children are not happy with the situation while the younger kids are having trouble understanding why they can’t just go home.”

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt had several homes during their marriage, including places in France, where they tied the knot in August, 2014, New Orleans, New York and Los Angeles. However, as the outlet explained, it was the children’s home in Los Feliz where they reportedly felt most at home.

“The Los Feliz home has been where the kids have spent most of their time growing up,” the insider continued. “Brad has built a huge skate ramp for the kids on the property and they all have their own rooms there too. They may have lots of houses but the Los Feliz house has always been home.”

A short time after Angelina Jolie parted ways with Brad Pitt, TMZ revealed details of their prenuptial agreement, claiming the document was quite clear when it came to dividing their reported $400 million fortune.

According to the report, Angelina Jolie and her estranged husband are not expected to involve themselves in a major dispute over their finances because they were only married for two years — and have an agreement which spells out exactly who gets what.

While Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have a total of 12 properties together, all of those homes were reportedly purchased prior to their relationship or when they were dating, and they only purchased three of the homes together. The others were owned by either Jolie or Pitt.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt may not be preparing for a battle over their money, but when it comes to the custody of their children, TMZ suspects their court battle over their kids will “be where the war really plays out.”

When Angelina Jolie filed for divorce, she requested full custody of the children, while Pitt reportedly plans to fight for joint.
