Bethenny Frankel Business: How ‘RHONY’ Star Is Paying Her Success Forward With ‘B Strong’

Bethenny Frankel has managed to create one of the largest companies ever from a reality television show. When Bethenny first joined The Real Housewives of New York, she admitted that she was broke, and she told her then-boyfriend, Jason Hoppy, that she sometimes struggled to pay the $2,000 in rent that she owed. However, Frankel got a great idea to create a low-calorie alcoholic drink, and she knew it would be a hit because she herself was a customer. Over the past couple of years, Bethenny has grown the business from just a few thousand dollars to over a million dollars.

According to a new Bravo report, Bethenny Frankel is now revealing that she wants to pay her success forward by helping other women who are running companies. This week, Bethenny announced that she had partnered with Dress for Success because she wanted to do a charity initiative called B Strong.

This new program will provide support, training, and even financial assistance to women who are coping with crisis situations. And Bethenny knows a thing or two about going through a rough time, as she recently settled her divorce from Jason Hoppy after several years. And it sounds like Frankel wants to help women because she is strong and a role model when it comes to dealing with crisis situations.

“I just felt it. I felt an emotional wave of a difficult time is just still occurring but hopefully passing, and I wanted to pay it forward and help other women,” Bethenny Frankel explained about this new initiative, according to Bravo. “And I have a partnership with Dress for Success. They have an infrastructure, worldwide. I know the money’s in good hands, I know the organization is already a well-oiled machine, and now I can really make a difference.”

Of course, Frankel is a role model when it comes to moving through the crisis and coming out successful on the other side. Everyone who has watched The Real Housewives of New York knows that she has worked hard on her business, and she has truly made it a huge success. She has built her Skinnygirl empire from the ground up and has struggled in the past. But Bethenny Frankel knows that it isn’t all about success and money.

“It doesn’t matter how successful you are. It doesn’t matter how pretty of a face you put on. We all suffer from feeling depressed and sad and lonely and hopeless and helpless,” Bethenny Frankel explained about why she decided to move forward with this initiative, adding, “And you know I’ve been with no money in my bank account; not to the poverty point, but I’ve experienced challenges in my life, and I’ve more recently experienced emotional challenges and I want to help other women.”

One can imagine that many women are eager to get her help as they may want a strong figure in their lives to help them move forward and deal with their emotions. And since Bethenny has gone through quite the divorce drama recently, it sounds like she could be the perfect person to help them move forward and stay focused on what really matters, including their businesses or careers.

“The world is very empowered right now by females, and men just have to get used to it and get out of the way,” Bethenny Frankel added about the partnership, adding, “I don’t know if men are ready for how much women bring to the table right now, because men just can’t pay the bill and expect for that to be enough. Women are paying the bills too.”

What do you think of Bethenny Frankel’s decision to pay it forward to help women who are going through a rough time?
