Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are facing rumors of a possibly impending split, but according to a new report, West is focused on his continuing recovery and potential new album.

After returning to his Bel Air mansion from a Los Angeles rental, where he was reportedly living in the days after being released from the hospital, the rapper’s creativity is said to be flowing — and new music could be coming sooner than fans expected.

“Since [Kanye West] got home, he’s been more relaxed and focused,” TMZ revealed to readers on December 8, revealing that the musician reportedly built a temporary studio in the home he shares with Kim Kardashian in order to allow himself the privacy he needs to get better while also making new music.

“[Kanye West]’s comparing the breakdown, and 8 day hospital stay, to his near-fatal car crash and his mother’s death.”

During his darkest moments, TMZ reported, Kanye West allegedly feels that he has created some of his best tracks, including “Through The Wire” and “808s.”

Kanye West allegedly suffered a breakdown last month after he reportedly stopped taking his usual dosage of prescribed medications. According to TMZ‘s report, West is allegedly suffering from “psychological issues” but has kept his condition under control since leaving the hospital.

“He’s in such a creative space… an album’s worth of material is a real possibility,” the outlet concluded.

Kanye West may have returned home to his Bel Air pad recently, but according to a report by Us Weekly on December 7, Kim Kardashian and her children are currently staying with her mother, Kris Jenner.

“Kim has spent the last few days at Kris’ house with the kids. The kids were there during [Kanye West]’s hospitalization and are very happy there,” the insider told the magazine. “Kim really wants to protect the kids and will do everything she can to see that that happens.”

Kanye West spent nine days at the UCLA Medical Center’s Resnick Neuropsychiatric Hospital after what his physician, Michael Farzam, labeled as an episode of “temporary psychosis.” Then, following his November 30 release from the facility, the rapper reportedly began staying at a rental home in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, his wife has allegedly been caring for their two children, 3-year-old North West and 1-year-old Saint West.

“[Kanye West] has not seen the kids very much since he was released and Kim does not think he should. She has no plans for them to all live together,” the magazine’s source alleged.

However, a source close to Kanye West insisted that he and his family, including his wife and kids, are reportedly “at home” together — not living separately as the previous source suggested.

While there have been contradictory reports shared regarding what may happen in the future between Kanye West and his wife, a source earlier this week told Us Weekly magazine that Kardashian allegedly wants a divorce. That said, she isn’t expected to make any sudden moves until Kanye West is healthy.

According to a second report regarding Kanye West’s marriage, a source claimed he and Kardashian had no plans to end their marriage.

“This divorce stuff is completely false,” the insider told People Magazine on December 7. “Kim does not have any plans to divorce Kanye. She’s told me it’s false. The picture that’s being painted is that she is planning on leaving him because of the robbery and this [hospitalization] incident.”

The People Magazine source also claimed Kanye West was allegedly not living with Kardashian and their kids.

As for Kanye West’s potentially upcoming new album, the singer has remained completely silent, and no confirmation has been given regarding his future tracks.
