Miley Cyrus And Liam Hemsworth’s Wedding ‘Might Not Happen,’ Claims Source

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth are reportedly at odds over his alleged flirtations with other women.

According to a new report, Miley Cyrus and her fiancé were rumored to be planning for a summer 2017 wedding not long ago, but now, the couple’s relationship has reportedly taken a turn for the worse as a source claims they cannot stop fighting with one another.

“Things are so bad between [Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth] that friends fear [the wedding] might not happen,” an insider revealed to OK! Magazine, via a report by the Daily Mail on December 7.

The magazine’s insider suggested that Miley Cyrus was reportedly upset because “she thinks Liam’s been very flirty with other girls lately.” Meanwhile, Hemsworth had allegedly grown frustrated with his fiancee after she began “secretly texting people behind his back.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth rekindled their relationship one year ago after calling off their first engagement in September 2013.

Miley Cyrus began dating Liam Hemsworth in 2010 as they filmed The Last Song and became engaged two years later. Then, after Miley Cyrus engaged in a sexually-charged performance of “Blurred Lines” with Robin Thicke at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards, they went their separate ways. At the time, the couple stayed mum on their decision to call it quits, but a source alleged there may have been infidelity involved.

After Miley Cyrus’ rep confirmed she and Hemsworth had parted ways, a source told E! News the split was “Miley’s decision, after coming to grips with Liam being what she believed was less than faithful to her.”

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth remained apart for a couple of years and dated other people during their relationship hiatus. Following their split, Miley Cyrus was linked to a number of celebrities, including Mike Will Made It, Jared Leto and Stella Maxwell, and briefly dated Patrick Schwarzenegger. As for Hemsworth, he was linked to January Jones, Nina Dobrev, and Eiza Gonzalez.

Miley Cyrus and Schwarzenegger ultimately split in spring 2015, and months later, she and Liam Hemsworth rekindled their romance.

While Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stayed quiet about their reconciliation for the first few months, the singer ultimately stepped out with her engagement ring back on, and months ago, she opened up about the 3.5 karat Neil Lane ring during an appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

“This is really weird, because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy,” Miley Cyrus joked to the host, according to a People Style report. “They don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up. So sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney Tune. And [Hemsworth’s] kind of like, What’s going on? I am like, This isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.”

“He could have saved a lot of money by giving you, like, a gummy bear ring,” Degeneres joked in response.

In other Miley Cyrus news, the singer recently joined the cast of The Voice for the series 11th season, but unfortunately, she will not be the Season 11 winner. As fans saw on Tuesday, the remaining members of Team Miley were eliminated earlier this week, which leaves remaining coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton and Alicia Keys.

Miley Cyrus will not be seen during the series’ spring 2017 season, but in the fall, she will return to the show for Season 13 — and to her position as coach after Gwen Stefani takes over during Season 12.

To see more of Miley Cyrus and her co-stars, tune into new episodes of The Voice Season 11 on Monday and Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. on NBC.
