While Priyanka Chopra made her debut to American audiences in ABC’s Quantico, it’s the Baywatch feature film that has been thrilling Chopra, as well as her fans, in recent months. Previously, Priyanka has gushed over working with such big name stars as Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron, as well as feeling blessed by the positive attention she has received from her American audiences. Now, as Baywatch is set to debut its first trailer, Chopra comes together with Dwayne and Zac to tease the world premiere of the first trailer and her own debut as a seductive, conniving villain.
Priyanka Chopra Teases Fans With The Promise Of The First Baywatch Trailer
Sharing a video teaser from Dwayne Johnson on Instagram, Times of India reports that Priyanka Chopra teased the premiere of the first Baywatch trailer, due to be released on December 8. The Baywatch actress’ excitement could be felt in reading her caption, particularly as she added the hashtags #wait4VictoriaLeeds and #meetmyPrey, alluding to the fact that she is playing the villain in Baywatch.
Ms. Chopra has previously said that she’s thrilled that she’s been able to participate in the Baywatch film because she was a big fan of the original David Hasselhoff series of the 90s. Additionally, Priyanka is excited to be playing a villain, though she has expressed some disappointment that, as the evil Victoria Leeds, she won’t be wearing the classic Baywatch bathing suit.

Bollywood Is Calling And Priyanka Chopra Is Ready To Answer
Even though Priyanka is making a name for herself in the U.S. and gaining a steady following through Quantico and now in Baywatch, the actress has never hidden the fact that she’s hasn’t given up on her career in India. In fact, NDTV draws attention to Chopra’s promise to return to Bollywood, as her Hindu fans take to Twitter to ask for her return.
During a recent Q&A session hosted on Priyanka’s Twitter account, she was asked again what her plans were in regards to making more Bollywood films or returning to Hindu television. While she currently lives in New York City, Chopra responded that she misses India and she’s looking forward to finding a project that will take her back home.
“Yes I miss Hindi films. Can’t wait to do my next one..,” Ms. Chopra replied to the question.
Priyanka Chopra last starred in the Hindi film, Jai Gangaajal, which saw a theatrical release in India earlier this year.
While Chopra couldn’t guess when she might snag a new Bollywood film, she did hint that she would be returning to Hindi television for the talk show, Koffee With Karan.
“Yes looks like I will…not sure. You should ask @karanjohar!! Lol,” tweeted Chopra in response to a question about her appearance on the talk show.
Ms. Chopra has often said that she hopes to continue balancing her Bollywood and Hollywood careers, doing television and films in both countries. Ms. Chopra hopes to build herself up as an international actress and with credits like Quantico and Baywatch added to her already impressive list of Hindi blockbusters, she should have little difficulty maintaining her staying power.
Baywatch is set to hit theaters on May 19, 2017.
