Alex O’Loughlin, Malia Jones Welcome Baby Boy

Congratulations are in order for Hawaii Five-O star Alex O’Loughlin and his girlfriend Malia Jones.

According to a report by US Weekly Magazine, the couple, who announced they were expecting in August, welcomed a healthy baby boy into the world on Thursday, October 25.

Daniel Dae Kim, Alex’s co-star in Hawaii Five-0, confirmed the happy news with a tweet that said:

“It’s official: Congrats to Alex and Malia on their new blessing in a blankie! #H50.”

Malia and Alex have yet to reveal their son’s name.

US notes this is the first child for the duo, who both have children from previous relationships; O’Loughlin is father to son Saxon, 15, while Jones is mother to son Spike, 3.

Alex and Malia’s relationship was first made public back in January 2012, when the duo appeared together on the red carpet of the G’Day USA Black Tie Gala in Hollywood.

In addition to his role as Steve on the popular CBS drama series Hawaii Five-O, O’Loughlin is also known for starring opposite Jennifer Lopez in The Back-up Plan and has appeared in a handful of other movies including August Rush, The Shield and Whiteout

Jones, a 35-year-old surfer and model, has appeared in famous magazines such as Sports Illustrated, People and was named one of America’s 10 Sexiest Athletes by Esquire.

She has also been in commercials for Coca-Cola, VO5 shampoo, American Express, and spent time as a consultant for Disney’s 2002 animated film Lilo and Stitch, which is set in Hawaii and features many surfing sequences
