Scheana Shay On Dating Married Man: Why Her Situation With Eddie Cibrian Was Different

Scheana Shay may enjoy a good gossip session once in a while, but it sounds like Vanderpump Rules fans are not too pleased with her recent decision to gossip about her co-worker, Lala Kent. It’s no secret that Lala is currently being slammed by her co-workers for supposedly dating a married man. Kent has revealed that it is just a bad rumor and that she has no idea where the rumor came from. When she heard it at SUR, it was the first time she had learned about her supposed relationship with a so-called married man. But viewers were quickly reminded that Scheana herself once broke up a marriage for dating a married man.

According to a new tweet, Scheana Shay is now revealing that her situation is much different than Lala’s situation. Even though Shay feels that her relationship with Eddie Cibrian was much different than Lala dating a married man, it sounds like Vanderpump Rules viewers don’t see it as being that much different. Eddie, who was married, knew that he was cheating, and Scheana didn’t ask too many questions. And she’s now angry that people are comparing her to Kent.

“Y’all are annoying AF. This is why I stayed off Twitter last night. NO SH*T. I know what I did. DOESN’T make what she’s doing okay!” Scheana Shay revealed in a Twitter rant, sharing that she was very frustrated with the way people were judging her for dating a married man a few years ago, resulting in the divorce between Eddie Cibrian and Brandi Glanville.

“You’re sick of hearing about your past but you con’t to talk about lala like it’s your business #Hypocrite,” one person wrote to Scheana Shay, while another added, “Just shouldn’t put someone down when you did the same thing yourself. Except you didn’t get gifts like she is.”

The cheating scandal happened long before The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills started filming, but when Brandi Glanville joined the show, she told her story about her failed marriage thanks to Shay. At the time Scheana learned that Eddie was indeed married, she went straight to a tabloid to apologize for the harm she had caused. Shay claims that her entire situation is different because she had no idea that Cibrian was married to Glanville.

“Yes I did. And I apologized for it and never said what I did was okay. She’s not owning what she’s STILL doing. Keep watching!” Scheana Shay replied to a fan who wrote that people should leave Shay alone because she had publicly apologized for dating a married man, to which another person came to her defense, writing on Twitter, “and you DIDN’T know he was married. Then you had the COURAGE TO appoligz & on TV & that takes GUTS.”

Scheana Shay seems convinced that Lala Kent is well aware that the man she’s dating is a married man and that she’s taking advantage of the situation because she’s getting all kinds of goods, including a car. And that’s the primary difference between her situation and Lala, according to Shay. In addition, Scheana reveals that Eddie could cover up the affair because there were no social media platforms back in 2006.

“It’s a looooooong season and ALOT will change. I’m sick of opening twitter to negativity daily. I’m not a brainless mean girl puppet,” Scheana Shay later added in a separate tweet, saying that she would not be judged based on what happens in the first few episodes, adding later throughout the night, “2006! 10 years. A decade. Never said what I did was okay. Also the difference is- I didn’t know and she did! No social media in ’06.”

Shay ended the night with a positive message to her fans, writing, “To all of my fans, I love you more than anything but I can’t with the negativity. I’m the furthest from a hypocrite. Need a tweet break.”
