Angelina Jolie Is Not Moving Her Kids To London Amid Brad Pitt Custody Battle [Debunked]

Angelina Jolie is not moving to London — and she isn’t taking her six kids with her.

Earlier this week, a report suggested that the 41-year-old actress, who is currently in the midst of a messy custody battle with her estranged husband Brad Pitt, was plotting a move to ensure she would nab a top position with the United Nations.

On December 6, TMZ claimed Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt haven’t gotten along for over a year and suggested that Jolie had been looking for an opportunity to end their two-year marriage and land her dream job. The outlet then claimed Angelina Jolie was planning to take all six of her children with her but knew the idea would be visually impossible unless a joint custody situation between herself and Pitt wasn’t possible.

“[Angelina Jolie] told L.A. County Dept of Child and Family Services officials Brad brutalized Maddox on a private jet and engaged in other conduct that endangered the children.”

According to the report, Pitt strongly denied the allegations of physical violence against his son and the Department of Child and Family Services “clearly saw it his way” as they closed their case and failed to file any charges against the 51-year-old actor.

The TMZ report went on to claim that Angelina Jolie had allegedly orchestrated her plan to involve the Department of Child and Family Services in her custody battle with the help of two unidentified women, one of whom is reportedly a member of England’s House of Lords and another who allegedly holds a position with the U.K. government.

“They’ve been in [Angelina Jolie]’s ear, convincing her she could become Secretary General of the U.N. if she plays her cards right,” TMZ claimed, adding that Angelina Jolie has allegedly been paying the women handsomely for their consulting services.

As the outlet explained, Angelina Jolie would have to prove that Brad Pitt was an unfit parent if she wants to take their kids out of the country and so far, the report alleged, she’s “struck out.” However, according to Jolie’s rep, she has no plans to move out of the country and is focused on doing what is best for her children, including Maddox, 15, Pax, 12, Zahara, 11, Shiloh, 10, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8. The rep also said Angelina Jolie wants to continue therapy with her children and their father.

Still, TMZ revealed to readers, their sources were clear with their allegations and have insisted that a move to Europe and a position with the United Nations is Angelina Jolie’s ultimate goal.

In response to TMZ‘s report, Gossip Cop claimed Angelina Jolie was not planning to move to London “anytime soon.” Instead, the outlet explained, the actress will remain in Los Angeles where she and Pitt both have homes and continue their counseling and therapy sessions.

Angelina Jolie filed for divorce from Brad Pitt on September 19 and at the time, TMZ claimed sources had suggested that Pitt’s alleged use of alcohol and drugs, combined with his rumored anger problems and disputes over parenting, had reportedly led to the actress’ decision to end their marriage.

In her divorce documents, Angelina Jolie requested full physical custody of their kids and asked for Pitt to have nothing more than visitation with the children.

“[Angelina Jolie] became ‘fed up’ with Brad’s consumption of weed and possibly alcohol, and mixed with what she believes is ‘an anger problem’… felt it became dangerous for the children,” the outlet explained.

Following Angelina Jolie’s divorce filing months ago, her entertainment attorney, Robert Offer, said the actress made the decision to file “for the health of the family.”
