Kailyn Lowry Divorce: How Being A Single Mother Is Helping Her Parenting

Kailyn Lowry recently went on a Twitter rant about her estranged husband, Javi Marroquin, but she deleted all of her tweets except for one. Kailyn reminded her followers that she didn’t want to say anything about her estranged husband because they do have children involved in the divorce. Lowry might have been angry because she learned that Javi had started a new relationship with a girl who was often compared to Lowry. But it sounds like she can move on now as the divorce has been finalized.

According to a new tweet, Kailyn Lowry is now focusing on being a single mom as she’s officially a single lady. The divorce was finalized this week, and she might be thinking about how her own mother was a single mother. Lowry has often talked about how her mother wasn’t there for her and how she was often left to her own devices. When Kailyn was 16 years old, she was living with Jo Rivera and his parents, and she was pregnant with their son, Isaac. Whenever she filmed 16 & Pregnant, her mother didn’t exactly come across as a great support system.

“Was sitting at the counter doing homework with my 1st grader thinking… damn my mom never opened my backpack let alone helped w homework,” Kailyn Lowry revealed on Twitter, sharing how she’s really learning what it takes to be a hands-on mother and realizing how she didn’t have that support system from her mother.

Lowry is currently a single mother to two boys, and she’s sharing custody with both fathers. While she has a shared custody schedule with Jo Rivera for little Isaac, she could quickly come to an agreement with Javi about their son, Lincoln. This was one of the first things that they could work out after splitting up. The two quickly agreed on their divorce, but the paperwork had to be signed by a judge, which took a long time.

And it sounds like Kailyn Lowry decided to do homework with her son rather than watch the Teen Mom OG reunion special which aired last night on MTV. Lowry might have been one of the only Teen Mom stars who didn’t watch the reunion special last night. It was a much-anticipated reunion special as Farrah and Amber got into a heated fight onstage over accusations that Amber’s boyfriend was called a pedophile. And while Farrah was tweeting up a storm about her co-stars, Portwood simply revealed that her behavior was disrespectful.

“So much disrespect,” Amber Portwood tweeted as she was watching the Teen Mom OG reunion special, where Farrah was speaking negatively about her, to which Kailyn Lowry replied, “Are you ok babe?”

“No I can’t just be portrayed any way they want..love you babe thanks for asking,” Amber wrote back, to which Kailyn offered up her support, writing, “I know, it’s so hard… but you have a circle of supporters that are here for you! Know that! Love you.”

It sounds like Lowry has her friend’s back as she isn’t a fan of Farrah Abraham. One can imagine that Kailyn doesn’t like Farrah because of her decision to film adult entertainment movies, especially because they are on the show with their children. But one can imagine that Lowry is also upset with Abraham’s behavior because of the way she’s treating her co-stars. After being disrespected on last night’s reunion special, Maci, Amber and Catelynn decided to walk off the stage.
