Chrissy Metz Of ‘This Is Us’ Raves About Real Life Love
Chrissy Metz of This Is Us is speaking out about her real life love. This actress has everyone curious about her now that they have fallen in love with her character Kate. ET got the chance to talk to Chrissy and find out the details about her real love life and more. She talked to ET’s Katie Krause about her new relationship. Chrissy says she hasn’t been with him long, but that isn’t holding her back from talking.
Chrissy shared saying, “He’s not an actor, but he is a sweet treat and he’s wonderful. It’s new, but I will be kissing him under the mistletoe.” The two have been dating for four months and it is someone in the industry, but he works behind the scenes and not in front of the camera. Chrissy Metz did share that they met through a friend and at the start of filming her new show This Is Us. She isn’t using the word love quite yet, but when asked about it Chrissy said, “You know what? I think I am. It’s such a blessing — really it is. It really is.”
Metz did have great things to say about her new man. She said, “Here’s the thing, like, he needs to have his own life. I don’t want him roped into mine, so I just want to protect him. My little sweet treat.” As of right now, she isn’t speaking out at all about who it is that she is dating, but everyone can’t wait until Chrissy Metz is ready to share the details.
Right now things are going great for Chrissy Metz. Her new show This Is Us is a huge hit with viewers, and everyone can’t wait to see more from her. People shared that Chrissy is also speaking out about how she got her acting start and it was all kind of an accident for her. She actually went with her sister to a modeling audition, and that is when it all started for her. She explained it all on a recent episode of The Talk.
Chrissy shared that she has a different dad from her sister and that her sister is actually tall and skinny. They went to a booking in her hometown of Gainesville, Florida, and a talent scout told Chrissy she should consider getting into the business. She was actually only there to support her sister, but it ended up changing things for her. It turns out that her sister never became a model and now has a great family with three children. Chrissy Metz is the one who went into the business and is now part of a hit show. It has all worked out for her in the end.
Chrissy Metz isn’t giving away any big spoilers about This Is Us, but she did tease about the new episode that will air this week. She said, “It’s a very unexpected Christmas episode. You’re not ready for it. You’re going to need tissues. It’s so beautiful.” This show is known for always throwing you for a loop and it sounds like they are going to do it once again. Chrissy also said everyone is responding great to her on the show sharing it has “been insane. I can’t go anywhere without somebody stopping me, which is so wonderful. … It’s been so amazing to receive [love from] women and men of all ages.”
