Aaron Rodgers Plays Through Hamstring Injury Amid Olivia Munn Family Feud Rumors

Aaron Rodgers took to Lambeau Field on Sunday, despite an injury to his hamstring one week prior, and not surprisingly, the Green Bay quarterback wasn’t playing at 100 percent when he and the Packers took on the Houston Texans.

Luckily, Aaron Rodgers did enough to lead his team to a 21-13 victory over the Texans, which brought the Packers to a record of 6-6.

After the game, Aaron Rodgers spoke out about how his hamstring was feeling, revealing that while he doesn’t feel any better than he did before the game, his on-the-field actions didn’t lead to a worsening of his injury.

“Not better than I did coming in, but I feel good about where I’m at,” Aaron Rodgers revealed to reporters, according to a report from ESPN’s Rob Demovsky. “Had decent movement and didn’t do anything to create a major setback.”

According to a report by NBC Sports, Aaron Rodgers may not have felt horribly during the game, but his condition kept the team from making their normal play calls. That said, despite the slick conditions and snow in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers was able to hold onto the ball, aside from one fumble, and completed 20 out of 30 passes for a total of 209 yards and two touchdowns.

Although Aaron Rodgers’ team’s record isn’t the best, he has been playing well and Mike McCarthy, the Packers’ head coach, applauded his efforts during yesterday’s battle against the Texans after the game.

“He’s playing great football,” coach Mike McCarthy said. “[Aaron Rodgers] deserves a lot of credit. The guy’s an outstanding leader. He does a lot of things that you don’t read about because people don’t hear about it. He’s an exceptional leader, and he’s a great football player. So you do what you want with that. Those are the facts.”

Aaron Rodgers was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in 2005 and has been with the team ever since.

Throughout Aaron Rodgers’ time in the league, he’s won one Super Bowl and nabbed several impressive titles, including Super Bowl MVP and Most Valuable Player. He’s also been named to the Pro Bowl five times.

In other Aaron Rodgers news, the quarterback’s relationship with Olivia Munn has been a hot topic for fans ever since his brother, Jordan Rodgers, appeared on The Bachelorette. During the show, as fans will recall, Jordan and his father, Ed, opened up about their estrangement from Aaron and Aaron’s father hinted that fame was to blame.

Aaron Rodgers and Olivia Munn, who have faced rumors of marriage but have not yet tied the knot, began dating one another in early 2014 and ever since, Rodgers has allegedly been out of touch with his family.

In August, as Jordan Rodgers and his fiancee, Bachelorette Jojo Fletcher, began planning for their upcoming wedding, Munn’s name was pulled into their family drama.

Olivia Munn “has a strong personality and every meeting she has had with [Aaron Rodgers’ family] has gone badly,” a source told Us Weekly magazine.

In addition to allegedly being at odds over Aaron Rodgers’ relationship with Munn, the family is reportedly also feuding over who started the feud.

“The family says [Aaron Rodgers] stopped talking to them… While Aaron says they don’t talk because his family doesn’t like Olivia.”

In response to the allegations, a source close to Munn told the magazine, “[Aaron Rodgers] makes his own decisions and wouldn’t be swayed by Olivia.”

Whatever the case, Aaron Rodgers’ brother, Jordan, and his fiancee, Fletcher, have reportedly become “incredibly stressed” due to the alleged tension. “The family is torn apart, and it’s playing out in the media,” the source said.

Next Sunday, December 11, Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers take on the Seattle Seahawks at Lambeau Field at 4:25 p.m.
