Kanye West's week-long hospital stay has been over for a few days now, but he's not out of the woods yet, and Kim Kardashian intends to make sure he recovers completely.
Kim insists that Kanye must remain in therapy until he gets a clean bill of health. A Kardashian-West insider told E! News that Kim is "standing by" her man, but she's got some strict rules for their life together going forward.West was released from the UCLA Medical Center on Wednesday, and Kim has been giving him all the "support and love" he needs. Kardashian has been there for Kanye throughout his ordeal since he was hospitalized for exhaustion.
Kim isn't showing signs of dropping her husband any time soon, despite the rumors of trouble in the Kardashian-West home, but she's also not planning to put up with any more crazy stuff.
"She wants to get Kanye back on his feet. She is not leaving him. She loves him."The source said that Kim is feeling the pressure of dealing with Kanye's hospitalization and breakdown, on top of getting back to normal after "Kardashian West was robbed in Paris," but she's managing well with support of her own.
Kim was all set to "make her formal 're-entry' into the public sphere" when she flew to New York City for the annual Angel Ball, where Robert Kardashian Senior was set to be honored. That was the night of Kanye's complete breakdown and emergency trip to the hospital, though, so Kim tossed aside her plans and rushed to Kanye's side.
It wouldn't be a shock to learn that Kardashian is "struggling to deal with her husband's plight and experiencing her own anxiety," but the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is doing just fine, according to Hollywood Life. There's a ton of "support from so many people," and that includes Kim's own Kardashian clan, and her mom Kris Jenner.
"Kim is doing okay despite reports. She has many things on her plate so being overwhelmed is expected."Part of "doing okay" is Kim's "for the best" insistence that Kanye continues to go to therapy sessions. So far, West is cooperating fully, and the plan is that he "will remain getting outpatient treatment till he is fully recovered."That's not enough for Kim though. The Kanye insider said that while the hospital treatment and the huge "support from so many people" are both really important to Kim, she "wants him to continue getting therapy even after all of this."
That sounds like a good plan. If it can happen once without Kardashian realizing what was going on, it can happen again. Continuing with therapy will be a safeguard, and another pair of eyes keeping watch on Kanye as he re-enters his incredibly busy rapper and fashion designer life. For now, the hectic schedule isn't going to be a problem. Kardashian is so determined to make her husband healthy again, that she and Kanye have agreed to step back from public life for awhile.
According to Vanity Fair, the Kardashian-Wests "are going to be taking a bit of a break for the rest of the year." The plan is to celebrate some family time with Saint, North, Kim, and Kanye together at home and away from cameras until after the holidays at least.
"They will be canceling all their engagements until 2017."There was some really happy news too for the Kardashian-Wests this week. Kanye was out of the hospital in time to celebrate his son's first birthday. Saint West turned one year old on December 4, and thanks to Kim's devoted care of her husband while he was in the hospital, Kanye was home with Saint, North, and Kim on the big day.[Featured Image by Bryan BedderGetty Images for Harper's Bazaar]
