Park Bo-Gum Says He Is Excited To Meet Fans In Kuala Lumpur

Fans in Malaysia are waiting with bated breath to see their favorite Hallyu star in person. Actor Park Bo-gum who captivated his audience in K-drama Moonlight Drawn By Clouds will visit fans in Malaysia on December 10.

Park Bo-gum, who has never set foot in Malaysia, said that he has heard many good things about his fans there and that he is excited to meet them in Kuala Lumpur.

Last week, he sent out a special video message to his fans in Malaysia.

“It’s my very first visit to Malaysia, and I can’t wait to meet you all. I heard so many good things about Malaysian fans, and finally I am coming to you,” said actor Park Bo-gum in his video message.

Two weeks ago, Blossom Entertainment, the actor’s talent agency, announced that actor Park Bo-gum will be hosting fan meets in eight countries.

According to a report by the Inquisitr, the Hallyu heartthrob will make his first stop in Malaysia, and head to Hong Kong, Indonesia, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, Singapore, and China.

According to the announcement on their Facebook page, Park Bo-gum will meet his fans on December 10. The event will be held at KLCC Plenary Hall at 7:30 p.m.

After the Malaysian fan meet, the actor will head to Hong Kong, where a meet-and-greet with fans will be held on December 17. Park Bo-gum will meet his Indonesia fans in Jakarta on January 13. The actor will head to Bangkok to address his Thai fans on February 11.

“The upcoming fan meetings will be a special occasion for Park Bo-gum to hold proper meetings with his fans not only at home but also across Asia. They will be made up of various programs through which Park Bo-gum and his fans can talk and enjoy themselves,” announced Blossom Entertainment, according to a report by the Inquisitr.

However, fans in the Philippines are disappointed that the actor has ruled out hosting a meeting in their home country, which has a huge number of K-drama loyalists.

Park Bo-gum stole the hearts of many Asian fans in his recently concluded K-drama Moonlight Drawn By Clouds. He is now emerging as one of the most sought-after South Korean actors.

His acting prowess was visibly evident in Moonlight Drawn By Clouds, which stole the top spot in K-drama ratings.

Blossom Entertainment says Park Bo-gum’s popularity has translated into more business.

“He’s firmly established himself as a lead actor through this drama. We’re getting more than three times as many requests as before for his appearance in dramas,”said Seung Byeong-wook, a senior official at Park’s management agency Blossom Entertainment.

The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation collected 34,665,904 pieces of data for 20 CF models. Park Bo-gum stood proudly at the top of the October data with 8,618,542 points, almost four times of his previous month data.

At a recent interview, when Soompi asked the actor about his soaring popularity, Park Bo-gum said, “I didn’t feel it while the drama was airing, but it hit me during fan meetings afterwards. I was surprised to see more people than I expected. I greeted them because I was so thankful, but it became even more crowded. What I realized then was that other people could be harmed due to my actions and words.”

There’s more good news for Park Bo-gum fans. The Hallyu heartthrob has been confirmed to host the 2016 KBS Drama Awards on December 31.

Meanwhile, fans of Park Bo-gum are eager to see the next big project featuring their favorite star.
