Taylor Swift To Katie Couric: ‘I Don’t Really Know That Much About Love’

After breaking up with her recently love Conor Kennedy nearly a month ago, Swift is breaking her silence by giving Katie Couric an exclusive. Discussing her feelings on love and her most recent split, Swift doesn’t hold back, which isn’t surprising given the nature of her true to life lyrics on her hit albums.

According to Swift, her relationship with Conor came to a halt because of her unusual lifestyle. Although at the time of her interview it wasn’t public knowledge that Swift was going through yet another heartbreak, she was still insightful when discussing her love life with Couric. According to The Mirror, she told Couric:

“I don’t know how to have a normal relationship because I try to act normal, love from a normal place and live a normal life. But there is sort of an abnormal magnifying glass, like telescope lenses, on everything that happens between me and anybody else. I don’t really know that much about love, it turns out.”

Over the years, Taylor Swift has written songs about ex-loves John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal, Joe Jonas, and Taylor Lautner. Recently she wrote her new hit song “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together“ about all of her loves. The question remains if Kennedy will endure the embarrassment of a song about their break up. Perhaps it’s highly unlikely because of the Kennedy’s love for Swift. Within the next month, Swift will be receiving the prestigious Robert F. Kennedy from the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights. Previous recipients of the award include Bill Clinton and George Clooney.
