It's been months since Justin Bieber was seen with supposedly ex-girlfriend Hailey Baldwn. But now Bieber and Baldwin have been spotted together again, with that reunion sparking rumors that there's something special between them. In addition, Justin attracted intrigue by covering a Taylor Swift song, causing speculation that he was either trying to charm his former foe or tease her. He also responded to a direct question about dating: Is he still single?Bieber and Baldwin were seen giggling and "holding hands" after a six-month period where they weren't spotted together, according to Hollywood Life.
The 22-year-old pop prince and 20-year-old model got together at a hotel in Los Angeles recently, an eyewitness told the media outlet.
"Late last night Justin and Hailey ran through the lobby of the Montage and into an elevator together."With Justin traveling around the globe for his "Purpose World Tour," it's been a long time since he and Hailey have had a chance to reunite. But the timing that allowed both former lovebirds to be in Los Angeles apparently opened the door to their reunion.
Bieber is known for staying at the Montage when he's in Los Angeles, and the observer revealed how happy both he and Baldwin looked when they were spotted back together once more.
"They looked happy, giggly and were holding hands."Hollywood Life also noted that fans speculated that Justin and Hailey had reunited when a photo of Bieber with a girl who had long, blonde hair was posted on social media. But it's tricky to tell if it's Baldwin, although the media outlet reported that Justin gives away his presence with that "same highlighter-yellow sweatshirt as he was spotted wearing earlier in the night."While some speculated in the comment section that Justin was with Hailey, others thought it was another one of his former girlfriends.
As the Inquisitr reported, Bieber has become known for his revolving door of girlfriends, ranging from off-again, on-again longtime sweetheart Selena Gomez to reality TV star Kourtney Kardashian to hot model Sahara Ray. Consequently, commentators had plenty of names to toss out as they speculated about who was accompanying the Biebs in the photo.
"so who is she? Bronte, sahara?" questioned one follower.
"bronte biamped. Went on the trip with Justin to Hawaii," wrote another.
"Hailey," argued one believer that Baldwin and Bieber had reunited.
But is Justin actually dating anyone right now? His old friend Ellen DeGeneres posed the question during Bieber's appearance on her talk show.Dishing with DeGeneres for her December 5 episode, Bieber marked his 26th appearance on the talk show by confessing his relationship status and even revealing whether he has ever used Tinder, a popular dating app, reported Hollywood Life.
"I'll get right to it. Who are you dating?" asked Ellen.
Justin stayed cool, calm and collected when he responded.
"I am not dating anybody. Single. I'm not really looking either."Even though Bieber announced that he was not "really looking," the talk show host probed as to whether the pop prince had turned to the dating app Tinder.
"I don't," answered Justin, adding that he is "not really" interested in giving it a go.But what Bieber was interested in doing was covering a Taylor Swift song again, and once again, it sparked speculation and rumors, noted Elle, which told readers that Justin "seems to be trying really, really hard to get back in Taylor Swift's good graces."
Marking the third time that Bieber covered one of Swift's hit songs, he chose ""I Knew You Were Trouble."Justin has not yet returned to Instagram, but he appeared on Ellen DeGeneres' Snapchat, crooning some of Taylor's song. Bieber previously covered "I Knew You Were Trouble" in June. Prior to that, the "Sorry" singer sang "Teardrops on My Guitar" during a Carpool Karaoke session with James Corden. So is Justin extending an olive branch to Swift by covering her songs, teasing her, or just boosting his intrigue level? Gossip Cop pointed out that some of the speculation and rumors about what Bieber meant by covering Taylor's song stems from the caption "Who even likes Taylor Swift," but that caption was not posted by Justin, and he did not say those words.
What led to Bieber covering a snippet of Taylor's song? Justin was taping the Ellen DeGeneres Show, and he filmed it for the program's Snapchat. The @justinbiebertracker on Instagram shared the footage, and wrote the caption. Bieber does not even have his own personal Instagram or Snapchat accounts at this point, according to Gossip Cop.However, Mashable noted that Justin and Taylor do have a history of feuding, pointing out that a "long cold war" has existed between Bieber and Swift "concerning Selena Gomez." It didn't help Justin's relationship with Taylor when, in August, he posted a FaceTime conversation with Kanye West amid Swift's feud with West.
"what up Taylor," wrote Bieber in siding with Kanye.
Consequently, Mashable speculated that Justin's decision to cover a Swift song again might be "a response to completely unsubstantiated rumors that Gomez ditched BFF Swift in order to reconnect with Bieber." Or it could just be that the Biebs really likes to sing about "trouble."As for how the Biebs' just-reunited gal pal Hailey Baldwin feels about Taylor? Baldwin "slammed" Swift's squad, according to Yahoo Be, which cited her response.
"I don't understand the Taylor Swift squad at all."Hailey clarified that she does not "know what having a squad means," adding that she has her own "friends and that's it."
