Mila Kunis And Ashton Kutcher Reveal Newborn Son’s Name

World, it’s time to introduce yourselves to Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher’s second child together. Their son’s name, once a closely guarded secret, was announced on Ashton’s website, aplus, today.

The darling tyke’s name? Dimitri Portwood Kutcher. That’s a far cry from the name that Ashton apparently wanted. According to an interview with Conan O’Brien, Ashton was angling in on the name Hawkeye, but Mila shot it down faster than the Avenger’s bowman during an alien invasion. (The name actually comes from the mascot of the University of Iowa, where Ashton went to school).

They got the name from both sides of their family. Portwood is Ashton’s stepfather, while Dimitri is a common Russian name (Mila was born in the Ukraine).

The boy weighed a whopping eight pounds and 15 ounces when he was born on Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at 1:21 am. This is the second child for Mila Kunis, who is 33, and Ashton Kutcher, who is 38.

The two were married in 2015 in a small intimate ceremony over the July 4th weekend where like almost everything about their love life, things were kept on the down low. Regarding their wedding, Ashton Kutcher spoke with Ellen DeGeneres in an interview.

“It was a ninja effort. We really didn’t want helicopters at our wedding and it’s a legitimate concern. So I was like posting things on social media that we were in different locations to avoid [people and noise], we didn’t want to be screaming our vows at each other.”

This is the second child for Ashton and Mila, who welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their lives on October 1, 2014. They named their daughter Wyatt Isabelle Kutcher.

Considering Ashton’s involvement in social media and publishing, it should come as no surprise that Wyatt has her own Twitter account, @KutcherWyatt, where she was one of the first to welcome her baby brother into the world.

Baby brother is no different. His newly created twitter account is @bearkutcher, named after his nickname, Baby Bear. As of December 3, 2016, there are no tweets from Baby Bear, but he already has 44 followers. It may be some time before Dimitri tweets his first observations, as Ashton released a short statement, saying, “We’d like to allow our kids to make their own choices on whether to have a life in the public eye or not. We don’t want to make the choice for them.”

Mila and Ashton first met on the set of That 70’s Show in 1998, where they were cast as boyfriend and girlfriend, Michael Kelso and Jackie Burkhart. Since then, Ashton Kutcher was involved in a high profile marriage to Brat Pack alum, Demi Moore. Demi and Ashton were married after two years of dating on September 24, 2005. The two separated and divorced after six years of marriage on Nov 17, 2011. Ashton and Mila started dating the next year after reconnecting and spending time together.

Don’t expect this to be their last child either. During the press junket for her latest movie, Bad Moms, Mila revealed that they aren’t ruling out having more kids. She told host Ryan Seacrest during an interview that, “I’ve always said this, I think you know when your family is complete. After we had Wyatt, the second that I gave birth, I was like, ‘I know that we need to have another baby.’ We both knew it, we just felt it. And so I always say after the second one, we’ll know if we need to have another one. I really do believe you know when your family is complete.”

Until baby number three arrives, Mila is sure to have her hands full with both Wyatt and Dimitri as well as her production company, Orchard Farm Productions.
